We purchased this set as well as two other Melissa and Doug dress up doll set for our daughter for Christmas. They are all absolutely wonderful. Very well made. The type of toy that you can pass from child to child. My daughter loves to dress up all the dolls and then stand them up and play pretend (like they are all going to a ball). These dolls keep her occupied for at least an hour, absolutely amazing!Note about the company Melissa and Doug:We had an issue with one of the other dress up dolls and contacted the company about our concern. They were extremely prompt in a response and were eager to rectify my issue. I have not experienced such GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE in a very long time! Our family will now be life long consumers of Melissa and Doug products as they had already won me over with the quality of their products and now we have the absolute cherry on top of fantastic, friendly and quick customer service!GREAT company and GREAT products!Also, out of all the items my daughter received for Christmas these are what she has been playing with for the past week.I also love that the box has suggestions for EDUCATIONAL uses for these dolls!I wanted to make note that I've read some of the other reviews about wishing there was a lid to this product. Yes, that would be nice but it really hasn't been a problem for us as our daughter has been told that after you are done playing with the dolls all items must be picked up and put neatly back in the container. But a lid would be nice for transportation purposes. Especially since the container that it comes in is so nice.

I purchased this for my 3 year old great grand daughter. She loves it! It is very sturdy, easy for her to stand up and place the clothing on the doll. She loves that it "magically" holds the clothes on the doll. The box that it comes in is really nice to hold the doll and the clothing, so that it's not lost in the shuffle. Seems to be very durable. I think she'll get lots of enjoyment out of this product.

Beautiful colors and details, easy to attach and super fun to play with. I had 30 minutes of coffee and cake after playing with my daughter a bit when she wanted some time to dress up Nina herself.

I was thinking of Christmas present ideas for my five-year-old twins when I remembered how much they enjoyed these wooden doll puzzles that my mother-in-law has at her house. I thought I would find something similar for my kids when I came across these. They seemed perfect! I ended up ordering the Nina Ballerina one for my daughter and Melissa & Doug Joey Magnetic Wooden Dress-Up Pretend Play Set (25+ pcs) for my son.This Nina Ballerina Magnetic Dress-Up Pretend Play Set is a wonderful gift idea for a little girl who enjoys using her imagination and playing dress up (because what girl doesn't like that????). The set comes with the ballerina who is wearing a leotard and tights. She measures 8 3/8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide (by her arms). The doll measures 3/8 inches thick. Nina is magnetic so the magnetic outfits will stick to her. The stand keeps her standing upright and measures 3 1/8 inches long by 1 7/8 inches wide by 3/4 inches high. There are a total of six outfits that mostly include ballet costumes of the tops, bottoms, shoes, and headpieces.There are also three more "outfits" that I thought were outfits but must not be counted in the six. Those include a leotard, tank top, skirt, frilly shirt, and skirt. Not all outfits have all of the same number of pieces but you can mix and match. There are 27 total costume pieces (we are missing one from our set which is somewhere in the abyss of my daughter's room) and they are all magnetic. This set is made in China and is recommended for ages three plus.When my daughter opened this gift on Christmas morning, she was so excited! She's played with it quite a bit in the month since she's had it. It's fun for her to mix and match the outfits, depending on what she feels like. I like that everything is made so well, in true Melissa & Doug fashion.I would've given this product five stars except for the fact that it doesn't have a lid to keep the pieces in the box. This means we have to lay it flat on a shelf or dresser and if it gets tipped over, all of the pieces fall out, which has happened a few times.Other than the nonexistent lid, this product is awesome and perfect for a little girl! I wish I would've found this sooner when my daughter was younger but she will be able to play with it for awhile, plus her friends like it too. It's reasonably priced for the quality and I recommend it if you need a gift for a little girl!

Good quality, my toddler loves it!

I recieved this puzzle much quicker than I thought I would and am very pleased with the toy. I know that my daughter will love playing with this. My daughters love paper dolls so much but they rip and do not stay together to play with without tape. This puzzle has very strong magnets and very large durable, toddler able pieces to hold and play with. I love how the figures are healthy looking and the clothing they wear cover them selves. I also love that the packaging offers other ways for parents to play with the toys with their children to help the child learn while playing. And so many of the idea's go along with what my oldest is learning in preschool! Wonderful product!

Purchased for a 3 year old who is taking dance classes. Quality product. Her mom said she was enjoying it.

I gave this to my God daughter this Christmas and she could not stop playing with it. It's essentially a reusable a paper doll dress me up and she totally adores the ballerina. She couldn't stop playing with it the entire time. A must have for little girls.

Well made and endless hours of fun

Bought this for my 3 year-old girl! She loves it! She likes to dress her up and the fact it's made of wood makes this toy a good buy, because my little girl is rough with her toys.
