KYB554350 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock

Easy install, ride is great

Recently reading that one in four new vehicles come equipped with KYBs, so I wanted to give them a try and glad I did. All vehicles respond differently, but these shocks made a huge difference on my 06 Tacoma standard cab, highway or steep gravel mountain roads the truck has more control and a much better ride. Durability is yet to be proven, unless they wear out too soon they are worth the price.

These are great replacement shocks for my 2007 Tacoma. I just finished replacing not only the rear shocks, but the front struts, as well, with KYB, and my truck rides like a new truck. Only problem I have with KYB is their 'universal' instructions. They aren't the best, and I had a problem with proper bushing, washer, and nut placement.

Bought these for my 2010 Tacoma quad cab. Easy to install and gave my ride a nice sturdy feel.

instructions are vague, but shocks are very easy to install and really make a difference in ride, they are stiff but thats what i wanted

I usually load my bed with rolls of vinyl (50-70lbs each) and these shocks hold up well.

As other reviewers have stated, very firm controlled ride. Not harsh. Should have bought them years ago, and now I regret putting monroe on the front of the tacoma. Next set will be KYB gas-a-just.Very nice shock and love the ride.I have an 1.5" AAL in the rear, and these shocks work perfectly with the extra spring capacity.
