Very small pieces but opals are expensive and I was very happy with the quality. I keep them in a container of water as opals can dry out and are beautiful this way...Just using for a rock collection

Received 86 of 100 grams. Paid $45, then seller reduced price to $15, which is a price that more reflects the quality. I received opal pepples.Update: I received a refund, but sellers like this should not be allowed to sell junk, send a refund, and then get a good feedback for it. The seller thought that's how it works. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. This is a waste of everyone's time and money. Also Lara Gems and Jaguar Gems are the same seller. You will get junk opal if you buy from either.Seller, PLEASE STOP HARASSING ME TO CHANGE MY FEEDBACK, YOU 100% EARNED THIS. If you don't want bad feedback, then first, stop harassing your customers for leaving you bad feedback on the junk opal you sell, even after you send a refund. IT'S STILL JUNK. Second, if you want better feedback, then earn it. Sell better rough opal, or change your photo and price to reflect the actual junk that a customer will receive. The junk I received is worth $5-$10 tops depending on carat weight. This is opal cutters trash, and these people are selling it for 100% profit.Potential buyers, if you buy these, you will receive junk opal. I hope I can convince at least one person to change their mind so that they do not waste their money on this seller. This is more or less a scam. You pay them for junk, and then it's so expensive to return that they count on buyers not wanting to bother. That's how they get you. Etsy has great opal sellers that won't send you this trash.

I had 100 and a 200 carat lot in my order. The 100 carat lot was brilliant with soooo many colors the two hundred carat lot was not of the same quality. When I told them this their answer was, " Costomer satisfaction is our priority." My issues were addressed immediately.

They weren't exactly what I thought but I did get a couple of them that are very nice and I'm happy for the price

Hi I'm a metal Smith and I work with raw opals every day. Yes these arrive covered in dirt because they are raw and came out of the Earth. After I cleaned them up a bit and split open a few of the big pieces, yeah this 100 carrot lot was absolutely worth the 💰🤩 I do have to say though, study up on raw gemstones before you purchase them because they are different from the photo. I am very satisfied, thank you !

First, you should not expect greatness for 100 ct of opals that cost $15. I did not. However, the seller is advertising their product incorrectly, which is not acceptable. The dimensions given in the listing are 15mm-30mm, which is why I purchased them. I was hoping with less than perfect opals, the 15-30 mm range would allow me to polish them down and get something perhaps useful. As you can see from the photos, most of the opals I received are 10 mm or less in their longest dimension. Those that exceed 15mm, which were a few, have lateral dimensions much less than 10 mm.Please take the time to also contrast the pictures here to those that are advertised. We all realize that companies try to put their best product forward. However, you should note the differences in colors and clarity from the actual and advertised product. I hope that this review will provide context for what you will receive. I did receive 100 ct, as opposed to the 86 one of the other reviews notes.The shipping is slow, as advertised, and I had issues with the tracking, but that could be because it is coming from oversees. That might help explain other comments in the reviews to that effect.

Ordered opal rough many times and this was a garbage set. A little color in a couple but garbage over all compared to what I received from other. Maybe try to find a different provider.
