Perfect fit for my bathroom sinks, now I don't have to worry about my kids accidentally dropping my earrings down the drain!

Strainer works as advertised. Its size is suited for my needs as I have it in a utility sink to strain leaves and other debris from entering my drain.

Out of all the ones I considered this one has a wide rim. The mesh is also very solid. The only concern would be the outer edge being a little sharp.

These strainers work amazingly. They definitely catch hair, food, etc, depending on what drain you use it for. The only "downfalls" are that they shift/move once water hits them and they fill up quickly. A fix is using a bigger/flat drain cover on top just for extra help. As far as a fix for the filling up so easily, just turn your water off and remove/clean the strainers. Also, the metal is sharp, so be careful when cleaning them out.

I had the more expensive "fungi-named" strainer and it slowed the flow way too much even when completely clean. Tried these not expecting much. They work GREAT! Almost work too well, but that isn't possible. They do clog up quickly only because they seem to catch everything, exactly as they should. Cleaning is simple. Just turn them over and smack 'em down on something solid. Rinse and get back to bidness. Again, very pleasantly surprised, especially for the price.

Seamlessly fits in the hole exactly where the metal is already located around the rim. It has good drainage, just make sure to clean it after a few weeks of usage. Looks nice, especially for the price!

Good fit. I have tried many different sinks strainers and the problem is generally that you find yourself having to help the gunk over a lip to get into the catch basket. This product is slanted so that the gunk falls in easily with the flow of water. The only reason it clogs easily as other comments indicate is because it's a fine mesh, so it's catching stuff most strainers would otherwise pass through. A light tap a couple times against the inside of a trash can is enough to clean it out. You want to get picky, use an old toothbrush.
