Wow, from using tweezers to these - what were we thinking!In short - our Bichon was having long term ear hair issues, and our tools needed a major upgrade, these Hemostat fit the billing perfectly and were a welcomed purchase, the difference they offer was like night and day!Yes, a fantastic difference they made, very happy we made the good sense to make the purchase, as they turn an awkward hair removal job into one that was much less problematic, especially for your much loved pooch, all for a pretty small asking price!We can wholeheartedly recommended these to help and ease you're pets hair ear issues, bang on for their price!Edit: Long story: sadly, our Bichon had such a horrendous run, which ended up with both our Vet and recommended Specialist Referral Vet getting it emphatically wrong. As initial diagnoses was Epilepsy, when in fact it was Chronic Leukemia, so please - always ask many questions, constantly plug away: as you sure pay handsomely for their service, ask away, and boy, did our Bichon suffer with ear issues during this horrendous period 😱Thankfully, we can confidently state that these Hemostats sure did help with our Bichon's ear problems that she suffered, they without doubt helped make it a such less traumatic experience for her, and us, this alone is well worth the small asking price.Coupled with how these Hemostats have a much kinder rounded end, so very much less blunt, they certainly help reduce threats of damage, say, by scraping the very sensitive fragile ear canal, again, we can definitely say these helped to make such an awkward job into one that's many times more simple for all involved.Obviously; care still has to be taken when using, but these are nothing but a win win outcome for all, all pet owners should own a pair!

I had a really hard job working out how these actually opened .but after nearly throwing them in the bin .one last ditch attempt and they opened ..havent actually used them yet as my dog is on antibiotics for her ears .but will try in future

Pulled out fur from out pup's ears easily. We recommend also using an ear powder to help grip the waxy hair. 100% recommend these.

Brilliant….. a real game changer when grooming my dog!

If your thinking about buying these for plucking hair don’t bother! Really, really poor quality! The teeth sections don’t meet properly so you can’t use them for plucking hairs as they just slips right threw.Might be useful for picking up small objects such as jewellery but can’t really think of another use for them.
