Start a Cupcake Business Today Paperback – August 1, 2010

Received this a couple of days after ordering. It's a great book, well put together, easy to read, basic step by step instructions, with lots of references of where to go to obtain the info that you will need and want.This could easily be a "For Dummies" book. The info given in this book is not just for a Cupcake business, it's good solid info that can be adapted for any business, whether it's food related or not. I would recommend this book to anyone that is thinking about going into business for themselves.

This book contains every detail you may or may not think about when considering this sort of business. I bought the book on a whim after flirting with the idea of opening a dessert shop-not necessarily just cupcakes. While the book is very cupcake-specific, you can use it as a guide for almost any kind of small dessert/pastry/snack shop storefront you are considering. The business plan template and writing guidelines were very thorough. This book didn't try to cushion or sugar coat the pragmatic business points.If you are in the beginning stages of dreaming up a business, this book will definitely have you on the road to reality soon!

I got some very useful information out of this book as far as upstart of a cupcake business. It is smart and well thought out from the perspective of someone who has the experience doing so. Really laid everything out for me to know on what I would need to do.

I was doing research on the cupcake business and came across an article for this book. Because the article stated that a business plan template was included with the book, I ordered the book from Amazon. However, when I received the book there was no template for a business plan which was very dissappointing as that was the reason I ordered it in the first place as it was quite expensive at $28. This book is LOADED with wonderful and extremely valuable information for anyone even thinking about opening up a cupcake bakery..I HIGHLY recommend it! It gave me ideas i would have never thought of and many more in which to help me suceed in my bakery which opens in about a month! THANK YOU!

I actually used this to start a cupcake business. It isn't a turn key method but helps kick start ideas. It was worth the buy for the knowledge on what does and doesn't work.

This was overly helpful and had a lot of great detailed info on how to set yourself up to be a great business owner. There is so much more than being a great baker, you really have to be an entrepreneur. The author also provides a lot of great visual examples of business plans and financial forecasting. She also has a great website for further additional resources.
