It makes light, but doesn't last long.
It fits my lamp, but it only lasted 10 months. Since this is a task lamp that is only used when I'm sewing, it really was only on perhaps 300 hours in that time. The previous bulb came with the lamp over 8 years ago, so I'm very disappointed with the longevity.
