I almost didn't buy these because of the other reviews I read about the size of them. In the directed time, they do get bigger, HOWEVER, if you let them set overnight instead, they get to be a decent size. I was disappointed by the size of the container at first glance as well, but once activated, you have A LOT more than you think! (Think pasta lol)

These beads are like grimlins. If you give them water they multiply and multiply and multiply. They will keep multiplying out of any bowl you put them in... and then multiply some more. You will feel as if they will take over your home, and they might. It didn’t happen to me, but I was afraid I would drown in an avalanche of waterbeads. Just a helpful hint pour into a LARGE container what you think you need, half that, then half it again... at that point you should have a manageable amount to pick up from around the house. I would not recommend playing with them inside though.... you’ll never stop finding them everywhere. ENJOY!

If you've never used water beads before, first be aware that you have to soak the beads in water for at least 12 hours before you begin to see growth. I soaked mine overnight and had to add more water to let them grow to full size.These are wonderful for sensory play! They also keep their size well if sealed in a zip lock bag (I've had a batch sealed for over a month now, have taken them out for my son to play with, sealed them back and they still haven't shrunk).What I liked best about this product is how many beads you get! You could easily fill a small child swimming pool with one order! I also love the convenient resealable container the beads are sealed in - easy to take out a small amount at a time and save the rest for later.

WARNING...BUYER BEWARE...the description states 70,000 beads but it actually comes with 30,000 (or that’s what the box claims) I believe there is less than 30,000, either way the amount of beads that is comes with doesn’t justify the price. If you purchase this product and actually got 70,000 bead then it would be a great deal but 30,000 it’s not worth It. The spoons that came with the beads are a good idea but they are not good quality. They were poorly made.

This was an Easter gift for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it! And so does my 7 year old son, husband and me! The beads get surprisingly big in a short amount of time. To note- start with a very small amount or you’ll be searching for a bath sized tub to put them in! My kids enjoyed scooping, pouring, eventually getting in a large tub of these beads. For hours a day they played in and with them. Cute little package too- perfect for gifting. The scissors are great too. They have come apart a few times already, but are easy to click back together and are a fun way to gather and scoop.

This product is pretty useless. Its very cheaply made and I wish I had realized and returned it sooner. The box I initially got only came with one of the tongs so I requested a replacement and that came through. However one of them from the new box broke the first day my kids used it. It was repairable but kept coming out so I ended up tossing them a week later when the second one also broke. They were never that good to begin with because they crush the water beads and make a mess. Save your money and just get bulk water beads for much cheaper

I thought the beads would be more like a marble size but they’re pea sized, one of the scissors that cane with the product were bent so we only have one working pair for 2 kids, so I’ll have to go and buy more scissors. It’s definitely a fun product but if your looking for marble sized beads this is not the correct product and they break easily which I don’t like so I’ll be searching for a better product until then these will do.

We love these water beads! My 5 year old has trouble with fine motor control and this was perfect for her. She had so much fun playing with the water beads and you only need a small amount to make a massive amount of beads. These are perfect for sensory play and fine motor control!
