Yak-Power YP-RP5-RFBTM Waterproof Inline Remote with Bluetooth Control

It took some time to troubleshoot the reason the remote didn't work. I took the remote apart and tested the battery. Found out it was shipped with a dead battery. After reading reviews, I am not the only one. If you order this then you may as well order another battery (CR2032 Lithium) with it.**update replaced the battery and it worked for 1 trip. After that the main unit will not power on with this remote module plugged in.

Installed as per drawings (no written instructions) and remote does not activate switches. I downloaded the app and it works fine but would rather not have to fumble w/ phone while I'm on the water. Yak Power suggested to replace the battery in the remote; now it works great.

Works like it should after replacing battery in remote. Wasn’t responding at first.

Complete junk. I should have known base on other reviews. Can’t get Customer Service to answer phone or return my voice mails. This is heading back.

Unit doesn’t work. Other reviews indicate battery probably needs to be replaced. I didn’t buy the unit to replace the battery. I will be returning it. Not a good buy!
