YOGA PANT SEWING SAVIOR
My favorite pair of yoga pants tore on the butt seam. I watched a couple youtube videos of how to sew it back together without ruining the look of the pants and this thread was recommended. Wow it’s perfect. It’s not like a elastic but it has some give which is perfect for yoga pants. I would buy again for sure!!

Love this stuff! So many applications
I initially bought this thread to take in the waist of a very stretchy pair of leggings. This thread was perfect for the job as it stretches with the fabric. No awkward scrunching at the seam when I squat (which would’ve happened with normal thread). Since then, I’ve used this stuff for every single sewing project. I even used it to repair some long tears in my couch. After months of abuse from my large hyperactive puppy, the couch repair has held up! I got a great deal when I bought this stuff, too. I only paid $3 and some change for what I thought was one spool— but I received 3!

Just variable quality. It's great or it is terrible.
I got a blue color and it constantly broke. I tried everything: new needle, different needle type, different tension, different bobbin, cleaning the entire machine, etc. It only wouldn't break if I sewed at a turtle pace, and then it would still break periodically. Then I used a black version and had no issues. The reviews seem to align with that. Some people love it, some hate it. The quality just seems to vary and I will not purchase it again because it's not worth the gamble.

Works perfectly
Does what it should. I have been making headbands and this thread works perfectly. If I need more stretch, I use a zigzag stitch. This is a must have for stretchy material. I haven't had any break on me besides the initial time I pulled until it snapped, on purpose. I wanted to test it.

What's so special about this?
I'm just a rainy-day seamstress who can't tell much difference. I do see a small difference in the texture, but I can't see how there's any elasticity.

Weak thread frays
Cannot use this in a sewing machine - thread is fine and frays even on a low tension

Really does stretch
Unlike some threads this one stretches with fabrics. I used to fix an undergarment and it stretched with the garment when putting on. Used on otter stretchy material and you could not tell as again, it stretches with the material.
