Womens Sun hat Wide Brim Safari Fishing Hat with Large Neck Flap Hiking Hats for Women

When summer came to Texas and I decided to start exercising outside a couple of months ago I could not survive without a good sun protection. I bought 5 hats from Amazon. I was pretty desperate LOL. This one is a hands down my best choice for walking/jogging hat. My other choices were:1. It is made out of the very nice material. It is soft and light, good quality, looks not wrinkled.b. It is adjustable! My head is on the smaller side and I had a very slight adjustment made to it.c. Good protection from the sun on the back and front is adequate as well without looking too obnoxiousd. It looks feminine enough for me to wear it.e. Pretty light and cord keeps it from blowing it away pretty well.The negatives:a. It was the most expensive of the bunch (but not by much)b. The color grey is not a real grey. It is a greenish grey color. So... it is not matching any of my grey workout clothes. At the time I bought it the only available colors were grey and beige. So it looks more like a fishing hat LOL. I wish I had chance at another color like black or even pink, I would enjoy it even better.Overall, I have used it every day since I bought it and super happy I got it.

This hat us exactly what I’ve been looking for now that the days are longer / hotter (I live in Texas). I chose this design because I want to be able to easily wear my hair up while also wearing a sun protective hat. The longer panel in the back is perfect for protecting my neck. The front brim isn’t as stiff as other designs but that’s not a big deal for me. Adjusting the size was a little difficult because the strap doesn’t slide easily but with a little patience I was able to get the fit I wanted. I do have a smaller head so once I sized it down there is a little bit of bunching in the back around the area with the sizing strap. It’s not a dealbreaker; but, for those who care I figured it best to mention it.Overall I’m glad I have this now for when I’m walking my dog as well as for hikes.

I was skeptical when ordering since there were no reviews.. I received this hat, the material is nice, seems it would dry quickly if wet. Sits and fits well on the head, the back "flap" does a very nice job of covering the neck when it is flat, or flipped up. The sides cover the face very well, and you can still wear sunglasses comfortably. The ponytail hole fits my hair nicely and I have thick hair that I normally wear in a bun. Overall I am very pleased with this hat, and my purchase.

I bought two of these hats to take with us on our trip to Africa. We really liked the lighter colors, many of the shade hats available seem to be in darker shades. These hats have wider brims, which cover more of your face, ears, and neck. The fabric flap in the back (or as my son calls it... the hat mullet) is actually quite handy for keeping the sun off the back of your neck. The ponytail hole is an awesome feature as well. The reason this is not getting five stars is that we felt the hat could be made of a lighter fabric and possibly not lined to enable it to breath better. There were times when it was so overly warm it was too much to wear, which sort of defeats to purpose of wearing a hat for sun protection.

I apparently have a ginormous cranium, but this fits my head! I was so excited. Most women's hats do not.This does offer excellent sun protection. Looks a little silly, perhaps. But rays today; raisins tomorrow.

Purchased for OshKosh air show. Got so many compliments from other ladies. Wide brim and length of back flap were perfect- no sunburn for me!

This at gives good protection from the sun for my face and neck and hair. I like the light weight of the hat and the string to hold the hat on my head even on a windy day. I also like that I can put this hat in my small backpack. I don't completely bend the hat because I feel it might not recover. When I put it in my backpack, I give it a rounded fold and put something in the middle of the hat so it does not fold flat. I used it for in windy and hot weather and I felt it worked well. I think it would benefit from having a little thicker top of the hat for more protection of the top of my head from the sun. The top fabric is very thin so I don't know how protected my head would be from long exposure to the sun. It has served me well so far. I also use it on 20-30 minute walks in my neighborhood, where temperatures are between 80-100 at this time.

Lightweight hat that provides amazing protection from the sun. Also stays put in the wind. My favorite feature is the pony tail hole. Keeps my hair out of the way while shading my neck and face. It folds flat so it's easy to toss in a bag and have on hand for any outdoor excursion.
