For £40 this is a bargain of a time saving tool!
How have i survived so long without this tool!!!?Fit laminate flooring in 2 rooms and using this it was an absolute piece of cake doing around the doors. Simply cut the correct thickness off and laminte slid underneath, neat as anything! For £40 it saved me hours of messing on trying to cut around the door threshold. Looks like it will have a lot of other uses as well.Seems well built. Yeah its a cheap brand but as a occasional DIYER its spot on for me. Time will tell on how long it lasts.Definitely recommend for this price.

Great gadget
Purchased for my husband. He likes it, it works very well to do those intricate cut-outs. He finds that its fiddly to attach the various blades, and says don't press too hard when you are using it. Overall though he thinks it great and also excellent value for money.

.Really versatile tool and not too heavy
Great product - used it to sand down paint on an awkward area and to cut off 1cm from the bottom of a shed door. Also going to use it to remove old grout from between floor tiles. It comes with a useful selection of heads but I did buy an additional set. Easy to change the heads.Love this tool- as a woman, the handle is not too thick and it is not too heavy to use. I also have arthritis so I was worried about vibration aggravating my joints, but not excessive and all OK so far.Would recommend, and I am looking for more jobs to tackle!!

Really good value tool
This multitool is so easy to use. The cutters don't last for ever, but for the price, it is amazingly robust, easy to use and make particularly small jobs around the house quick and simple. Haven't yet tried the Bosch converter ring as the cutters ate not yet worn enough to replace.

Worked really well when doing some heavy DIY.
I bought this thinking it would be basic and as the price was low was content on just using it on my one loft project. This exceeds expectations.Worked well cutting soft wood, treated timber and some quite hard wood.Allowed me to easily make a cut-out in a hard wood block for a patttress. Also used to cut plasterboard. Not tried metal yet.As long as you're careful and don't overload it, I think it should last.

breaks easily. do not buy.
the blades are attached to the shaft that uses 4 pins to retain the blade in position and locked in tight by way of a washer and bolt. that's how blades are attached to the device. the problem I experienced is the 4 pins vibrated loose and detached from the shaft. this means blades can no longer be held in any position rendering it useless. I used this tool to remove grout joints tiled floor of 3 metres squared area and used it twice to cut skirting board and now the damn thing has already broke. I'm highly dissatisfied with this product. utter garbage and wasted alot of money buying it.

No good for grout removal
The head recommended in the above Q&A for removing grout is marked "Drywall" which presumably means drylining cutting. The instructions are very poor so you have to make a number of assumptions. The Q&A shown on Amazon's website suggests the semi circular tool is the one for grout removal and as no other tool looks suitable I tried the one suggested. This is a steel, fine tooth cutter which wore out very quickly on the hard grout so I do NOT recommend that this tool is suitable for grout removal. I have now ordered a new tool from Bosch.
