Stellar1000 Stainless Steel Saucepan 14cm Milkpan

This joined an identical small pan in the Stellar set I've used almost daily for over 25 years. This new one appears to be exactly the same quality as the older ones. Robust construction - I've not had any handle become even slightly loose on the older set in all the time they've been in use. Performs excellently, too: heats evenly and quickly, and is well-balanced so doesn't tip on the gas hob when empty, unlike some (not Stellar) small pans do. Not cheap, but "value for money" isn't necessarily synonymous with low cost. If this pan lasts as long as the others - and there's no reason to suspect that it won't - the cost per year of use soon looks pretty modest!

only thing is it is not a milk pan a milk pan has a lip on the side this doesn't just an ordinary saucepan without the lid. performance is good ideal for single meals

We’ll built and proper Stainless Steel. Will last me years as long as I take care of it meaning not leaving on heat unattended for longer period of time. Happy to pay the money for quality and robustness.

These Stellar pans are very well made and first class quality. We purchased a complete set of Stellar pans around 3 years ago, and they are still as good as new. The only reason for us getting this pan was to replace the one that the mother-in-law left on our new induction cooker, had no idea how to work it and left the pan on full heat, by the time we smelt something burning, there was was no custard left and a burned beyond hope pan.

Fantastic product... Well worth the money. If the handle gets hot you are using it wrong... Compared to my much cheaper stainless pans it takes a lot of prolonged exposure high heat in order to overheat the handle.
