I’ve been using the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Toner for a few weeks now, and I really like how it feels on my skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my face feeling refreshed and hydrated without any stickiness.

I am a cosmetic snob and I’ve used SK** pitera essence in my late 20’s. I loved how the fermented rice in the product worked so well with my skin, but obviously didn’t love the price of it. Way too expensive! After finishing a whole bottle, I felt it worked but I really wanted a better option ingredient wise and the price was just insane. Also thinking some of their ingredients wouldn’t work well with my sensitive skin in the long term use, I stopped using SK**. Yes, I am the crazy lady who goes through all the ingredients list to make sure I know what I put on my skin.So when HaruHaru came out with this Black Rice line, I was thrilled! Even though it is very similar essence like toner as SK**, derived from fermented rice, I find Haruharu’s ingredients are much healthier option and obviously you just cannot beat the price! Also, the smell, I really couldn’t stand the weird smell of SK**, but haruharu wonder toner carries light scent of wonderful natural lavender just like their black rice oil. It’s subtle, and not too overpowering, just enough to make me feel pampered and relaxed. It’s not like crazy dizzy strong fake lavender-like fragrance.This is my third purchase in one month to give as gifts to my dear friends because it is that good!! I bought the other two in Korea, and thank you Amazon for carrying it now!The bottle is huge with generous amount of product, I use it as a toner, essence, and sometimes, i put plenty of the toner on cotton pads and leave it on for 5-10mins to use it as face soothing mask when I my skin needs mini spa time.From product to packaging, this toner is very luxurious treat for my skin and far better option than SK**. Who would not love such a well-made product that is reasonably priced?!

This is one of the better toners I have used in a while. It goes on smooth and tightens your pores as it dries. I also like that it has a gentle scent that doesn't linger on the skin too long.

I rarely purchase the same skin products year after year because I like trying new products out but this is one toner I go back to time after time. It refreshes and refines my skin and preps it for a light moisturizer. Sometimes , I can skip the moisturizer altogether since this tones softens skin on its own.

This toner/essence packs a wallop of moisturizing, skin soothing deliciousness. The viscosity is a clear and silky with some body to it. It’s not a watery toner or essence. Alone, I notice the hydration and glow. If I really want to give my skin the BOOM BOOM POW! I pair it with Dr. Ceracule Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence to pull out the luminous and luxurious skin that is there but just needs some hydration and a bit of help absorbing all the delicious and a soothing actives. Without the aid of Haru Haru or Dr Ceracule, all the money I would spend on skincare and specific a actives, they just sit on top of my skin. Unabsorbed. Haru Haru alone will help open the door for the next steps in your routine.I have been wanting to try the moisturizer and serums, and ampoule. Oh and the Bamboo Mist…refreshing, great to set and refresh make-up. I don’t ever purchase mists, but this will be a standard in my routine. Great company and incredible effective products.
