GLOUE Bug Zapper Light Bulb, 2 in 1 Mosquito Killer Lamp UV Led Electronic Insect & Fly Killer

Because of where I live, and the fact that I like to spend time with my nieces as they're playing in the backyard, I was constantly being harassed by a whole platoon of mosquitoes. So after being bitten for the hundredth time, enough was enough. So I scoured Amazon, hoping to find something that was not only budget friendly, but something that wasn't a hideous box nailed to the wall, then I found this 2 in 1 bug zapping light bulb (in which I had no idea there was such a thing, which was the part that made me feel this product was sketchy at first), and against my better judgement, I added it to my cart.A couple of days later, when it arrived, it worked straight out of the box and was brighter than I had thought, so I left it on all night, wondering and hoping that it wasn't false advertising. The next morning, I never thought I'd be so excited to not only see dead mosquitoes, but to see that this bulb delivered, no gimmicks, no stinky bait, no tomfoolery. Sure, I did have to remove the glass encasing just so this bulb will fit, but it's a small price to pay just to get revenge on those micro-sized little demons. My written review, I feel, does not do this bulb enough justice, so I had to get some pictures of it. So if you're like me, and you're reading this out of need for an affordable bug zapper that's not an eyesore, then it's safe to say that your search is over. Buy this bulb, you won't regret it. I'm ordering another one for the light outside the garage so I can do my woodworking in piece without my neighbors thinking that I'm practicing karate chops.

I absolutely hate fruit flies. They are so irritating. So, I bought that yellow paper stuff. It succeeded in catching a few gnats and looking totally gross but just one gnat still flying around is enough to drive me crazy. All day I’m waiting for it to land for my opportunity to kill it. It’s become too much. So, after the headache with the yellow paper, I got this. At first when I saw how it was made like a light bulb I was disappointed because I thought it worked on its own. I didnt have any available spots to put it in. Then, my husband put it in one of the spots high in the kitchen. I asked “Will gnats even fly that high? I just never noticed them near the ceiling. Well, my question was answered by the fact that I havent seen a gnat in days. I feel so free. So, this is a good price for a good product. I’m tired of people selling junk. I’m so happy this actually works. I hope this review can help someone else with their decision.

Bought this for my dogs house. We live in So. Fl. and well, there be bugs! She has an 8x8 Tyvek shed as her house, decked out with A/C - because its FLORIDA! We noticed ants, spiders, and flies, even though we spray and use other insect deterents. I saw this bulb, and thought it might be worth a try. We originally used an old lamp outlet fixture (see pic) but have since upgraded to a hanging socket we purchased on Amazon. After the first few nights, we noticed NO BUGS! there were some unfortunate visitors on the floor underneath the bulb and about a week, we had to empty the bulb. We still cant get the light part to go out, but we'll figure it. I think it was an excellent purchase, and my Fauni dog loves it!

Honestly I thought the reviews were possibly a scam, but the price was worth the risk since my son has severe allergic reactions & our neighbor has pump-less ‘ponds’ that breed mosquito swarms, we are buying every product that might help.I had it indoors for a few weeks (along with other methods) and there was one ‘victim’ only. I wasn’t thrilled but reasoned placement was poor.I installed it outside on the front porch, where it gets a lot of access to mosquitoes. In less than a week, it is rather ‘full’ and I will need to attempt to clean it (gonna try the suggested qtip method).I am here to buy several more & this will be our new bulb in every light! (I wonder if they offer bulk pricing?)

I wasn't sure what to expect with some reviews stating it works great and others saying it didn't do anything. I don't know if maybe it depends on the location relative to other lights at how effective it is? Or how hardcore other people's bugs are? But where I am the bugs hanging around my backdoor outside end up flocking to this thing and killing themselves, it's awesome. Plus the additional light is great to have too (not as bright as my previous bulb but it's sufficient).I just got done cleaning most of the bugs out of it but I may update my review with a picture after it gets full of bugs again just to show that it actually works very well.Definitely recommended

I was skeptical as to whether this would work well, but all my concerns have been alleviated. The GLOUE Bug Zapper Light is amazing. All you do it screw it in like a normal light bulb and it both functions as a light with a bright LED light, but either with or without the light (you can flip the wall switch and it alternates between (1) light on/zapper on (2) just zapper on or (3) off) its awesome.The zapper is amazing, and the way its sloped tiny bugs roll right off it. Larger bugs get caught sometimes, but all that is required is to gently blow on the bulb and they come off too. Easy, low energy, and doesn't make that loud ZAP sound that we all know from the larger bug zapper. I have tow in my backyard and every day I see new bugs that it has taken care of. I highly recommend the product.

This bug zapper does kill quite a lot of small bugs. I am sure some of them fall off the 45 degree angle but a lot still get stuck in the metal grating. However, removing the bulb and then blowing on it really hard was sufficient to get most of them out.I am not sure how many larger bugs get zapped; if they get zapped they fall off and disappear somewhere, but I do feel like there are fewer large bugs coming through the door so hopefully that means this is working on the large bugs as well.I thought the light functions would be kind of awkward but actually they are not at all.So far I am happy and would consider buying this again.
