Definitely better than Maypole plug - I had to return two due to problem with several of the little screws - refused to tighten properly.The Carpoint plug appears to be better quality and is now working on my caravan. However there are a few issues :1) the pictures on Amazon show what I now understand is a cable securing extension and this did not come with the plug supplied.2)the screws are a little soft and the heads are very easily damaged when tightening. I could do with a few spares just in case, if Carpoint see this post.3)the stopper on the end (to stop water ingress) is very very difficult to get in close enough to the back of plug to allow it all to be tightened. There’s also a further flimsy plastic washer thing behind this which is even harder to locate over the ‘stopper’.

Thoughts then advert a tad misleading as item is a cheaper copy of the Jäger Trailers plug.
