A Must Read!
Excellent book. A must read for every individual who believes in life after death, spirit world and the other dimension. The author has compiled her real life experiences in a beautiful manner to make the reader feel each and every moment of the stories. Also have to mention the author has done quite a bit of research in the subject while narrating down her experiences. I loved reading the book and would surely recommend it to others!

Personal Hauntings
This is NOT a book of ghost stories. This is something else. One can say, it’s the casebook of an empath who senses the feelings of those who have departed. Accordingly we have here some of her experiences, thoughts, ruminations and ratiocinations. They take the form of narratives that are lyrical, sensual, rich and haunting. After the 'Foreword' by Ipsita Roy Chakraverti, the book contains following stories:1. Bhangarh's Trapped Souls2. The Nightmarchers of Puri3. God of the Elements4. The Healing Code of Konark5. Tryst with a Sultan6. Pathways to Power7. Who Walks on Marine Drive?8. The Goddess Possessed9. The Guardian Spirit10. Diana's Chalice11. The Night of the Soul Bell12. In Service of BedlamThere are also detailed notes for each story, so that the discerning reader may indulge oneself with further reading. These stories invoke lots of feelings. At times they horrify. Sometimes they infuriate with tales of human ravage and loss. But mostly they talk about the lingering pain and need for closure and relief.I liked them. If you have an open mind and think that the world around us can tell wonderful stories, then you may enjoy this book.Recommended.

A literary landmark among bad books!
I had expected this book to delve deep into the myth and aura of places believed to be haunted, but it turned out to be more about the author's "experiences" of being there; the book was replete with clichéd references to feelings of being watched, feeling the presence of other-worldly beings, etc etc. The book is a terrible cocktail of hackneyed fiction and bad English, and has a foreword written by the author's mother who claims (much conceitedly) to have "none that could stand up and be equal to" her in the knowledge of the other world. It's a terrible book from the foreword to the back cover. If you still want to buy a copy, please let me know - I will happily give you my copy because I absolutely don't want to be seen in its company ever again!

Quite boring
The author is trying her best to portray her experiences but fails to grip the reader past couple of stories. I have read all 3 of the books by her mother which are actually what they are claimed to be. Poor editing and inexperienced writing has made this book a literary disaster. Would not recommend.

Much ado about nothing...
Bought this for my wife. She was curious after reading one of her mother's (?) books. She was utterly disappointed.

One Star
Too much architectural and surrounding descriptions made it a boring read. Too dull for a supernatural story compilation.
