Great value for money
A basic trolley which does the job nicely. Easy to assemble and has some nice features sch as the free accessories which are all useful. I did have a problem with battery not charging but this turned out to be a defective battery and was quickly sorted out with customer services (who were excellent) who simply sent me a new one. I play a very hilly course and the battery easily copes. In short I would recommend this product without reservation.

Well made electric trolley for a good price
For the price, it has a very clean and professional looking design. Once you get the hang of it, then it becomes relatively quick and easy to set up and pack back down again. The carry bag is a great accessory as it can fit the trolley with the wheels still on, which means you can sling it in your car without having to worry about getting your seats or boot dirty. The interface on the trolley is intuitive. The speed ranges from 1-9 which you can alter by twisting the nob, and I've found 4 and 5 is a nice walking speed. You really notice a difference to your energy levels not having to pull around manually a trolley. There's a button to start and stop the trolley, as well as an A to B button which you can press for the trolley to travel a short distance on it's own and come to a stop. I would say that it goes about 10 meters. There's a simple green, orange and red light to indicate battery life. I've now played over 15 rounds with it from around the 6,000 yard tees and I've yet to see the light go to orange, so there is plenty of juice to get you around 18. Charging is very simple; there is a little red or green indicator light to let you know when it's done. I've found it takes maybe around 3 hours after a round for the battery to be fully charged again.A couple of small negatives to mention. It doesn't have any sort of brake. So if you're on a hill you need to be mindful to orientate the trolley in a way that it won't start rolling away from you. It also means that if you use the A to B feature that it absolutely has to be on a flat so that the trolley comes to a stop. If you set it going off down a hill you will see your trolley hurtling off into the distance. The slight other thing I've noticed you need to be a little mindful of is when you're going up a hill. Naturally you increase the speed to say 5 or 6, but you need to make sure you're holding onto the trolley going up a hill otherwise the weight of the trolley will make it fall backwards. I'm also mindful of when I plug the battery into my trolley now to only tighten it very slightly or barely at all. Because on one occasion, after I finished a round I spent 5 minutes trying to untwist it back off.Overall, a great investment, and a well made electric trolley at a good price, would recommend.

Battery life and trolley
Impressed with the life of the battery played two sets of 9 on different days and still plenty of charge life. Easy to use and assemble. Accessories for the trolly fit well. Value for money as it's the first electric trolley I've purchased.

Battery not working and total reluctance to acknowledge also no other follow up to complain
Lithium Battery worked from arrival Sept 2019, approximately 3 times a month then Winter set in. When Battery charged I kept trolley active once a week. Battery was temperamental but I put that down to perhaps not charging properly. I tried to contact retailers (through Amazon) = lack of response. Began playing golf once a week in April 2020 after Sciatica diagnosed, then slipped a disc in June 2020 so no golf till last month. Kept faith that Battery might be OK. NOW NOT WORKING AT ALL. I bought this trolley because of the Battery life needed as my back was having problems. If not resolved I will have to buy another Battery but will never recommend Ben Sayer again.UPDATE October 2021It is now several months since the post above, I have received a new charger (free) it made no difference to the battery so after several emails AS THEY WILL NOT SPEAK TO YOU DIRECTLY, I paid for a replacement battery (not lithium), this does work but the cover from the indicators on the trolley is now not staying in place. Excuses as to why my original battery was failing included depends on the hills involved!!!!! Was that not the reason why we buy trolleys in the first place? if all courses were flat we would probably carry our bags if we were able. I am not impressed with the standard of my purchase, yet I speak to others who have had the same trolleys for many many years without complaints and they use them almost daily. Perhaps I have been unlucky and I am doing Ben Sawyers an injustice but £400 plus £100 for replacement battery is money wasted in my mind. I cannot recommend Ben Sawyers to anyone else ever, Had they been more empathetic and understood that closed golf courses due to a Pandemic, a diagnosed Slipped Disc, and Winter all limit the opportunities for use yet they still refused to even look at the trolley which I would gladly have sent to them or even delivered myself to their factory. A totally useless customer service, but then again why would they concern themselves with me or others who are having issues when they are making enough sales to ignore us! Not recommending them ever again and will actually warn people off when discussing trolleys.
