EXCELLANT BURNER!We built a Summer Kitchen and the Side Burner is an tremendous addition to the Bull Grill. We cooked 48 Ears of Corn in a Turkey Frying Pot and this Side Burner was up to the task. Only took about 20 minutes to bring 7 Gallons of water to a boil, then just a few min to cook the corn. Great Decision to buy this from Amazon PrimeKen

Easy to install and kicks some butt. Puts out a lot of heat to boil large pots of water in a hurry. Love it! I have two side by side because I don't like the front to back style. I spaced them 6 inches apart and that's perfect for even two large pots at the same time. My girlfriend now cooks almost everything outside!

It will be awhile before we use this. I’ll update then.We wanted something to boil water or sauces on. We have had sideburners before on stand alone grills and they end up never getting hooked up let alone used. This situation is unique as our cabana and kitchen are farther away from the main house this time. We toyed with double burners and power burners but didn’t want to spend $1,200 on something we might never use...on the flip side we didn’t want to not have something if it became an issue. This little burner at $300 is nice insurance to have without taking up much space or costing too much.The look and feel is reminiscent of an old school Coleman camp stove; Serviceable and functional but not exactly a showpiece vs a large stainless drop-in. It has noticeable rivet marks in the top sheet metal where the metal is connected but they are uniform so I don’t think it’s a defect. I wouldn’t say it says “cheap” but it definitely says basic and no frills.

Great addition to our new outdoor kitchen. Looks and works great. We are very happy with our purchase.

Long story short: received a unit with obvious welding marks on the surface, clearly had not been polished properly, and the knob has letters upside down (because they reuse the grill knobs that sit vertically, instead of horizontal).I thought this was bad luck, so I asked Amazon for a replacement. Replacement came in same shape. I then contacted Bull to have it replaced. To their credit, they send a replacement unit quickly, but it was in even worse shape. Whoever is doing the manufacturing has a quality control problem.I'm now stuck with this burner because I had already tiled around the cutout hoping for a replacement. Do yourself a favor and buy some other burner, avoid the headache.

Thought that some reviews mentioning "scratches and dents" were one of those "one in a thousand" cases and I wasn't going to be one of those "odd"cases. I was wrong. I guess "scratches and dents" is a common thing with this item. See pics.
