Perfect for my cockatiel
Now that it's put together and Im using it I love it. Like other reviews said - it came with really minimal directions. Basically "put the pieces together." I'm paraphrasing. And I had to use cable ties to hold some places because it was a little bnt out of shape when it arrived. But it's pretty obvious what to do and easier if you have 2 people.I got extra branches to put in because it comes with 3 (I think) perches but they are not enough. And I read that its better for the birds feet to have a few different sized perches. It's perfect for my cockatiel and he's very happy to come out and sit on top. BTW the top opens and thats a nice feature but not right for my bird yet.

Love it!!!
For the price this cage is amazing! I built it with my 10 yr old daughter and had it done in less than a 1/2 hr (usually my husband does the building...so I was proud). It did come with some written instructions (no pictures), but it was easy enough to put together even if there wasn’t any instructions. Our cage was missing the metal mesh that holds the bottom tray in place & instead came with two metal meshes that go at the bottom of the stand. That part confused the heck out of me, as the parts are almost identical. Once I figured it out I contacted the seller & they sent the missing piece immediately. Also, have some pliers handy as you may have to bend a couple pieces to make it fit better. Once the cage is together you’ll find that it’s a great solid cage for your bird. We LOVE the huge door, it makes it so easy to get the bird in & out. We have a cockatiel & there is so much room for him & all his perches & toys.

Catch locks on small moat doors may need to be bent more tightly to prevent escape by parrots.
I purchased two of these cages and my Congo African Grey liked it immediately and my two conures enjoyed the other. One cage was lacking some nuts but luckily the other cage came with a few extra so it worked out fine (just by luck). The instruction sheet is difficult to decipher, but I'm very hands on and was able to assemble the cages in short order. One cage has a defect that will require the purchase of two food cups. The two metal rings that the stainless steel food cups sit in were cut and welded too small...so they do not allow the stainless steel food and water cups to slip inside. I was forced to go to a pet store and buy 2 more stainless steel cups and rings to replace them. Also, the small flip down doors within the larger swing out doors could be easily opened by the parrots. I had to bend the metal catch locks tighter to prevent escape.

Don't do it! Piece of crap cage!
Great shipping. That's the best part of my review. I received this Monday 10/26/2020 and opened the box because I was so excited to see this cage. I didn't get a chance to actually put it together until last night (garbage night so the box went in the trash) and boy oh boy are there issues with this cage! Broken welds at the bottom of the cage where the front meets the side. Also the door latch bar has a broken weld, so the spring loaded latch doesn't work smoothly. There are large gaps where the top of the cage is supposed to open up to provide a play top area, but I think are too large of a gap to safely house my cockatiel. The cage panels themselves are bent almost as if someone stood on the box and "bowed" the panels making assembly a real pain!!

Design flaw?
This is a pretty cage. Plenty of room for my cockatiel and it looks beautiful in my living room. The problem I have is in the cage design. When the bird eats the seed goes all over (which I do expect some seed mess). I put a mesh skirt on the bottom but everything still falls on the floor because the majority of the cage is wire. I feel like there should be some plastic guard skirting or something at the bottom. I plan on making a few minor adjustments to better catch the seed but overall I'm happy with the cage.

Great cage for my lovebird!
Literally a great cage. Easy to assemble, just follow the instructions. We did have to use pliers to secure the bars together but other than that it is well worth the month, considering at pet stores it would be double the price for the size of cage. Not for small birds, only medium size.

Cockatiel loves it!
Not too hard to ensemble, sturdy and big enough for my cockatiel to have plenty of room while also having lots of playthings in her cage:)

For the price, keep looking.
If there was a 2.5 rating, I would give it that, but that is all. Just not sturdy enough. 1) The cage is separate from the stand which is fine, but there are no latches to secure it to the stand; 2) very difficult to put together; 3) Lining up of sides, etc. was pretty poor...just cheaply made pieces; 4) I am going to have to do some extensive bending of the metal circle that holds one of the food cups to get food cup to fit. One worked fine, one way off; 5) The top opening is nice, but in hindsight would pick a cage that opens on top but has a platform up there, not just a bar. I'm going to cut a piece of wood and add hooks and somehow add a platform so I can put some food, water & toys up there. Right now, I put a ladder over to the window and sure enough, my two parakeets like hanging out on the wide windowsill because it's a platform. Same view from on top of cage, but they like walking around a platform versus sitting on a bar. It can hold 2 parakeets, but I also have lovebirds and it would be too small for 2 lovebirds. Finally, I'm having trouble finding more wooden perches that will fit just right. I'm going to have to just buy the kinds that have a screw in the end with a washer and nut and fasten them on that way.
