I no longer need the item, so have not availed the replacement, but am changing the review to reflect my appreciation of the manufacturer's customer service, plus the fact that my experience may be a one-off case.These are sharp and worked well for cutting gauze strips the first few weeks. However, one of the blades broke after about 4 months of not-too-heavy use. The blades appear to have rusted inside-out at the point of attachment (pic).

These scissors are just what I need to do my job. The only issue I have is that they are REALLY BIG. It is hard to carry them in my scrub pocket because of the size. But they are sharp and precise. Would I buy them again, no, due to the size.

Warning!!! These bad boys are SHARP. Instead of a flat, anvil-like grooved side, the grooved side is beveled like a serrated knife. Can't wait to see what these things won't be able to cut through. I'm betting that list is really short.

Good product, excellent quality

I've bought over a dozen of these and never been disappointed.

Sharp, safe, and cut easily through plastic and thick ropes. Haven't tried it on metal.

These are already in the trash. Bandage shears are supposed to cut bandages, not rub them until they tear. These don't cut gauze as they should and they spread apart on dressings/pads and would not cut that either. Junk.
