EZE-LAP P Round Diamond Sharpening Steel, 10-Inch

It's an excellent tool for sharpening professional cutlery. This is not for small or abused knives it is for fine cutlery to keep it in excellent shape something that the professional butcher or professional cook would use.

I've had a few sharpening systems in my time including electric ones and whetstones and all. Nothing compares to ease of use and efficiency of this tool. My knives have never been this sharp. Word to the wise though, pay attention to the angle of the blade relative to the sharpening rod, if you don't it's easy to screw things up. It's easy to stay the course though once you've practiced a little bit. Next time, I'll buy the oval one though...better surface area contact. Either way though I would guess that you won't be disappointed. I'm not disappointed in the round rod...I just want another one.

I like EZE- lap diamond steels. The large one for household and butchering chores. The pocket size for hunting and pocketknives and the fishhook sharpener is the best on the market and doubles as an emergency knife sharpener.

Got this for the hubby and he tried it out as soon as it came out of the box. He is very satisfied with the quality and ease of use.

No dislike here it's my go to stick. Use Diamond Abrasive Lapping Fluid with it the two go together like a glove. The is a two thumbs up product. 👍👍🇺🇸

This was a gift for my son, who is an expert at sharpening knives. He was displeased with what he had, but he is pleased with the results from this one.

Much better than steels without diamond dust.

I have had other steels in the past for sharpening and I guess they were ok.This one I really like because it does an excellent job. I keep in a case with my other 4 fillet & 2 boning knives.As an avid fisherman I clean “A LOT” of fish sometime 100 -150+ after an outing 1000+ over the year.So it’s very important that I keep my fillet knives nice and sharp through the process.After a 3-4 fish I whip the blade clean and swipe a couple times on the steel to bring back the edge.A sharp fillet knife will cut you r time in half.
