LOVE THIS BOOK! Inside the minds of the creatively awesome
I love this book - it has super fresh art, and a look inside their minds / lives a bit. I really like learning cool little things like what they like to collect, where they live (I was surprised that quite a few were from my area, a few even in my city) where they get their inspiration, etc. Every time I look at the art , I notice something I didn't see before..the art is so cool.. This was one of my favorite purchases. I definitely am going to expand my art library with more gems like this!

pop surrealism at it's best!
This book (the follow up to weirdo deluxe) has so many various artists with the interview with each one. A lot of the pictures are full page. Great dark, gothic works that are beautiful and detailed. No cookie-cutter art here! You can't take your eyes away from some of it. Hopefully more people will get into the gothic, dark low brow art. No more fruit in a bowl paintings!

The best of the outsider art genre!.
This book is fabulous! Several artists are featured whose work I had not previously seen, and I may not have discovered them if not for this book. A wonderful showcase for up and coming visionaries!

Weird in a good way.
I love these pictures. It's like a train wreck, I can't look away. I'm bothered by the fact that this is considered lowbrow art.?.? This art is great!

The Art World's Dark Voodoo
When your eldest daughter is a superb graphic artist, finding an appropriate gift can be difficult. I think this item was truly appreciated by her.

Take a peek at the Weirdo
After taking in the distinctive beauty on each page of this lush compilation, you'll find yourself wanting to rush from its full-color pages straight to your favorite search engine to find more eye candy from these engaging and boundary pushing artists. This one lives at the top of my coffee table pile.

Le livre est un beau recueil, mais ayant été livré dans le même colis que dystopia et steampunk son état laisse grandement à désiré !!

Weirdo Noir.
This is a great little book; I've had it in my library for the last six years and look through it frequently, which I can't always say of weightier, (and some might say loftier) art tomes. It's a nicely presented paperback, quite compact and with some neat decorative detail picked out in blue metallic foil on the front cover.Readers of Juxtapoz magazine will probably be familiar with some of the 24 artists whose works are presented here; since publication a few have gone on to feature in separate, sought-after volumes of their own – artists such as Alex Gross, Laurie Lipton, Tara McPherson, Glenn Barr, Travis Louie and Brian Viveros. (how I wish some kind publisher would bring out a collection of digital artist Ray Caesar`s work). As the blurb above states, the artists fall into the catch-all categories of Lowbrow, Gothic or Pop Surrealism, and there are some fine talents on show here in a rewarding, sometimes darkly amusing and thought-provoking collection. There is an introductory essay outlining the history of dark art and the general format of the text is a brief, informative interview/artist's statement followed by a few pages of work; the plates are full-colour, good sized and beautifully reproduced.A hugely recommendable book to leaf through for creative minds of a darker disposition – keeps us off the streets, anyway.

Entrancing & beguiling.
Being an ardent fan of Ray Caesar's work it was his 'Hanging by the Telephone' piece which drew my finger to the 'Buy Now' button. But there is much more. Featuring work from two dozen different artists from the dark humour of Travis Louie to the 1950s style of joSH AGle (Shag) the fine quality of the workmanship throughout is stunning & enthralling.
