Possible the most controversial and entertaining ppvs ever!

Survivor Series 1997 was at times a times a slow event. The Truth Commission vs. D.O.A. match can be a bit much with the Interrogator's limited move set. Since this match is used to get him over as a monster he is in a lot of it. The other Team matches are all much better. The Godwinns & New Age Outlaws vs. Headbangers & Blackjacks was a good start to the show and the place where the Outlaws really begin to take shape as a team. The Nation of Domination vs. Road Warriors was good and the ending was actually built on at the following year's Survivor Series to add hype to one of the later tournament matches. Team Canada vs. Team U.S.A. had the most heat of the team matches. All played well to the crowd in this one. All the single matches were good as well. Mankind vs. Kane was Kane's first match. They were also still using special lighting for him, much like they have done recently for Sin Cara. Austin Vs.Owen Hart was quick and to the point. Everybody knows the story of Shaw Vs. Bret so no need for detail here. Before the event the free for all count down show is included as well. It was when they still did it live in front of the crowd and not the pre-recorded ones we get today.The 98 event is dominated by the tournament for the World Title. Sort and sweet this is a great show and well worth getting.This is a fine set and a great addition to any collection.

Got here fast & in great condition. The WWF Survivor Series 1997 & 1998 PPVs are my favs since the 1980s. Felt cheated by the Kane Vs The Undertaker match but made up with others.
