This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

A very nice watch
On my first order the watch came with a dead battery. Some time later, I ordered it again and this time I wasn't disappointed. It's a great looking watch. Great quality! Awesome craftsmanship as you expect from Invicta. The diameter is a bit on the small size (37.5mm / 6 inch) but still looks good and a fine addition to my collection. Affordable, durable, and stylish. This can be a nice gift for a man.

Smaller than noted from Invicta - Not Swiss
This is my 4th Invicta Watch. it is a very nice time piece; however, when I called Invicta to inquire about the size they noted that it was the same as the 8926 Automatic. It actually is not, so there web site (Invicta) was incorrect. It's pretty sad when the manufacturer does not have the accurate information. The watch has more of a purple versus blue background; however, it is a nice look. Invicta also notes that this is a Mako Swiss. The watch is made in Japan and does not have any notes or Swiss markings. The case back requires a special tool to remove it and change the battery. Overall it is a nice time piece; however, I only gave it a 4 primarily because of the Invicta inaccuracies and lack of customer service that they are known for. 10-8-09 UPDATE; I had to change the battery in this watch. I opened the back and was shocked when I saw that the inner ring that holds the movement in place was made of cheap white plastic. I COULD NOT BELIEVE how cheap the interior of this watch was. If I could return it I would in a heart beat. The watch should be on a shelf at Wal-Mart for under $10.00. Very disappointed.

Invicta Gold-Tone Watch - 8937
I found my Invicta Gold-Tone Watch (model 8937) to be a very sharp-looking watch with the gold & dark blue (almost purple) dial & bezel matching nicely with my gold & amethyst ring. I am very happy with the watch's appearance - it is quite suitable as a nice dress watch - conservative looking (the dial size is not overly large), yet very impressive with its colors. I took the watch to a watch jeweler to adjust the band size, and I asked how long the gold plating should last, and he mentioned it should be good for a number of years since he knows Invictas to be decent watches. A very nice purchase for its cost (<$100). Most highly recommended.
