Weirdos from Another Planet! (Volume 7)

Great comic book.

I got this, and all the other Calvin + Hobbes books for my dad, as he used to have a lot of them before my ex stepmother took them in their divorce a few years ago. I grew up stealing those books from him to read, and we had a lot of good memories around those books and reading them together. He loved them, and the comics are still as amazing as I remember them being <3

This summer my son turned 8. And, he discovered Calvin and Hobbes. He is an avid gamer (switch, steam deck) but he has been laying down his consoles to read Calvin and Hobbes, for hours sometimes! I just love that. He got this book for his birthday along with a necklight to read it in bed. Happy boy and happy mom.

I used to read the Calvin & Hobbes books when I was a kid and remember them fondly. I have now bought all of the books for my own kids. We enjoy reading them together every night (I laugh out loud frequently at these strips, so it's something I look forward to as well). My older son is an avid reader, and has already re-read the books we've finished multiple times. He doesn't seem to get tired of them.The biggest difference I've seen is in my younger son. When I tried reading other books with them at bed time, he'd always wander off or start playing with something else. With Calvin & Hobbes, not only does he stay put (miracle!), but he asks questions about what all the big words mean, and he shocked me the other day when I came across him reading one of these books. Voluntarily. On purpose. With access to plenty of other things to play with.So yeah, definitely worth buying!

Calvin&Hobbs all time favorite.

I still have a couple of my Calvin & Hobbes books dating back to when I was a kid. My 8 year old daughter got a hold of them, and she has been obsessed ever since. I could not be more thrilled. She is constantly handing the books to me and saying "Daddy, read this one!"...and all these years later, they still bring a smile to my face. Hilarious and some of the most imaginative literature ever, child or grownup. Yes, I said it...EVER!!I bought her the 3 books that we did not have for Christmas and she's already read them all, cover to cover, several times. She's even been inspired to create her own comic characters.

Product was marked as "good" quality. Upon arrival the book was as good as brand new!

Another book about the best comic strip ever produced. Watterson is a genius.

I always loved calvin and hobbes, now I'm buying them for my son. Very funny, great drawings. This edition is well printed with clear images and text. It arrived for my son while he was at school so I started reading it and laughed out loud at many of the strips.

Cool cool and cool book

Just received and disappointed that the cover was torn. Bought specifically the hard cover to enjoy it but sad now.Book was amazing.
