I decided to try this new model after trying another one very similar (but with no option to replace the batteries), and this has been the litmus test. This past weekend has been the 4th of July weekend, 2020. As you can imagine, completely different as expected at the beginning of the year (someone can change the year on the calendar, please?), we are in North Carolina, in a dense wooded area, the temperatures were above 90 º F and a humidity of only 80%... then, you can imagine... mosquitoes were clapping awaiting for us to bbq.I decided to buy this because I'm done with the sprays (sticky and oily residue, a great choice for a forever after stain with my clothes), the candles (I have little kids, it is a horrible combination but they are attracted like magnets) and no, I'm not going to try the zapping light.And this works, It does work. Ok, the sound is not music to your ears, but it is almost nothing compared to the screams of my kiddos running around and shouting every time a firework explodes around. And the good thing is that it has two levels of sounds... In case the mosquitoes are thinking about having you as their bbq.I think is a wonderful choice for kiddos, it is safe, you can lock it up to avoid taking the battery off, and because it looks like a watch, you only need to snuggle up to the wrist and it is done! They are not going to notice the sound, they are busy, running and playing. Actually, I was thinking it could be a good choice for babies, you can wrap it around one rod in the stroller (I remember those days, those awful days avoiding my baby getting suck by the mosquitoes).In summary:- easy to use.- easy to replace battery (I hope it will last long).- easy to use with kids and portable.- two noise levels, I use the louder one when my father in law starts talking (mosquitoes! mosquitoes everywhere!)- it makes sound... (it can be considered like white noise for sure)- I'm watching it like it would be my own watch. Yes it confuses me, but I will survive.It is a good choice.PS. my kiddos decided to "capture" a few mosquitoes and put the watch close to them (they were in a plastic cup), and they became crazy. And not, I'm not feeling sorry for the mosquitoes because they usually "spent great times" at my expense.

After trying out most everything available on the market known to man to repel mosquitoes, I thought this product may work - even a little. Shipping was fast and well packaged. Item comes with a battery provided, so set-up was easy. However, In my little corner of NW Wisconsin, this item didn't do a thing! Maybe in more open or urban areas, but not in a wooded area. Didn't work for me - maybe better for someone else.

I used this for about one season. It seems like it does keep the mosquitoes from biting (doesn't make them run away), but I ended up losing it on a hike when it fell from my wrist unnoticed. the band attachment is not all that secure.

It seems to work, though I have had some bites wearing it. Only complaint is turning it on & off. Some times it takes several tries.

I like that you can use it in the wristband or clip it on clothing. It is quiet, and is an awesome alternative to chemicals. It's versatile and easy to use. It isn't 100% effective, but I don't think anything is. before I wore this, I would normally get bitten constantly every few seconds in my backyard, but while using it, I was only bitten a couple times. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend it for anyone who spends time outdoors. I'm going to buy more!

I bought this not expecting much but Ill do anything that will help keep away the skeets. Well it worked I'd hear them buzzing my ears and I'd hold up my wrist up by my head and they would scatter. Problem is I only got to use this thing for 2 weeks and it wont turn on now.(yes I changed batterys ect jic that was issue). SO for it's short lived life did a decent job. but it must have blew it's load to early cuz 2 weeks on life on anything is pathetic.

Was waiting for mosquitoes to be really bad before trying this repeller. It works great 👍. Had a few that circled but did not get any bites. When I read the previous reviews there were some that didn't think it worked because they had mosquitoes land on them. But, in the product information it describes that the only mosquitoes it is effective on are the gestational females and they are the only ones that bite. In fact, have already purchased a second one.As to the band unhooking. I experienced the same. However, it was an easy fix. I just reversed the white button and then put it on by putting the band with the button over the loop and under the other band. Once hooked, the wrist keeps it from coming apart. I will admit that with the silicone it makes it a little challenging but it is doable. I have serious reactions to mosquito bites and I refuse to use sprays with DEET (which are the only ones that work) and am thrilled to find this product.Also, as to the comments about the noise they make - on low, barely noticeable even when indoors; on high, it's loud inside but when outside it is not so noticeable. In fact, when outdoors, with all the nature and other sounds, depending on the amount of background noise, most of the time I don't even hear it.

Es malisisisimooooo.No solo no te protege de los mosquitos. Sino que les atrae el ruido. He llegado a tener 1 mosquito encima del aparato encendido y 2 apoyados en mi pierna.Una estafa en toda regla este aparato.

Lo utilicé y de todas formas los mosquitos se acercaban y me picaban

Me gusto que si sirve, no me gusto que el zumbido se vuelve molesto conforme pasa el tiempo
