Neutral on battery life. Have not used it long enough.

I purchased this battery for my wife's Macbook about 3 months ago. It was easy to install and worked fine initially. After about 2 months we noticed it wasn't holding a charge as well, and then a few days ago it stopped working altogether and appears to be swelling inside of the laptop, to the point where the touch pad is starting to pop out of place.Buyer beware, this is a poor product.

Had to replace my 2011 MacBook Pro battery, this dropped right in, came with all the tools; and works just as the original apple battery did. An excellent alternative to the costly apple battery it really is plug and play for the laptop!

It gets one star as it has lasted less than 4 months my mac already says service battery. The original battery lasted for more than 8 years. Ease to install, tools where fine but the battery is junk.

This is a great battery for the price! I double checked to make sure it was for the right model of MacBook Pro.

The first battery arrived is not working, not sure why. Have to request a replacement from Amazon, and the second one is in good shape. Only 1 cycle, and the capacity is accurate. Easy to install, and the kit comes with everything you need. 4 stars due to the first one is not working.

It did not last very long

Took me about 10 minutes to install and it works perfect. Just make sure you order the right battery the first time… unlike me lol
