Another great Woolly product!
I bought one large and one medium because I wasnt sure of the fit after reading reviews. The medium fit perfectly _ I am 5'5" and 136lbs. I took it to wear on a month long trip to England and Scotland in October, and it turned out to be a perfect garment in just about any place i was going- worn with leggings it can be dressed up or down and always looks great. I cannot wear most wools- merino is about the only one I can wear so I was glad that I had also purchased the tank top and one long sleeved top. All of them are well made and very soft and comfy- I wear all of them- the top and tank all year and when I recently took this one out of the closet for fall weather, I was happy to have it- its feels so snuggly warm.

Loved the sweater, but runs too large for me
I struggled with whether or not to return this. The design and workmanship are fantastic, the merino wool is substantial and soft, and I love that it is washable. The hood is the perfect size and looks good up. You could wear this piece skiing, hiking, or as a versatile travel piece with casual clothing. But it runs large compared to other outdoor/active brands (Patagonia, Nike, etc.) assuming it is supposed to be a close-fitting layer, and it's very long on me since I'm about 5'2". In street clothes I'm usually a 00/0, size 23 jeans, XXS/XS. If you want something that isn't too fitted and that covers your entire butt, order this. The price is very reasonable for the quality, and I wish it fit me better because I would 100% keep it and wear it all the time.

Wooleys WAS /ISmy favorite!?
I WANT TO GIVE THIS PRODUCT FIVE STARS. I love Wooleys. I've purchased a complete wardrobe of Wooleys for both my husband and myself. We wear Wooleys all of the time. I LOVE this brand and have made a huge investment in it.However, I've noticed that in the past two or three years, my Wooley knits are NOT of the same quality fabric that they were before. The earlier products could be worn and washed and dried and look good forever. I'm still wearing the knits that I bought--and they wear beautifully.A year or two ago, I had problems with a black knit that I bought. I noticed that the fabric was pilling up and getting knappy. It started pulling up and building up balls from the time I started wearing it. The first time I noticed it, I called the company in Seattle. I left a dozen messages, over several months, giving my name and contact information, and letting me know that I loved their product but had questions about one item. I didn't want to complain. I just wanted to let them know. I asked them to call me back as I had feedback on their product. I never heard back from them and finally out of frustration, gave up.I gave up hearing from them. I didn't give up on their product. At first, I thought it was ONE particular fabric on one particular batch (black knit pants and two black knit tops) . However, in my most recent orders, this pilling up and balling is affecting the BLUE and GREU knits too. Over the past several months I purchased several more coordinated pants, tops, and jackets myself, and pants shirts, and jackets for my husband.. My husband's knits seem to be fine, but ALL MY KNITS ARE AFFECTED and are pilling..I ordered 4 pairs of pants, 8 shirts, and 3 jackets for my husband. I ordered three knit combos--pants, tops, and jacket/hoodies (9 items)--for myself. I would have ordered MORE if they had some of my favorite wide-leg knit and cargo pants available. I made another HUGE investment, and am hugely disappointed. All the knits I purchased for myself are knappy and pilling up from first wear. This was NOT how the earlier and heavier knits wore. I'm still watching to see how my husband's knits are doing.I have made a huge investment in this product line. because I love it. It's soft. It's warm, it wears beautifully. HOWEVER the KNITS are not the same and are nappy and pilling up, through everyday wear. With our most recent items we are very careful in how we wash them cold and hang dry, or dry cool. It doesn't matter. Nappy fuzz pilling balls build up on the KNITS from everyday wear.I've compared my newer knit items to the first ones I bought which are still perfect and look much better than the new knits. They are cool in summer, warm in winter, soft, comfortable, and they feel amazing and drap beautifully. BUT the fabric quality and wear is very different. They are different fabrics.I WANT THE OLDER FABRIC BACK. The newer knit blends are NOT of the same quality as the older knits!I love this company. They are from my geographical region. I love their designts, but now they've even stopped making some of my favorite designs (the wide leg cargo pant and kintt pant were amazing!( I would love to purchase some of the older designs, that I can't get anymore,Bring them back.I love many of their designs. BUT I also have suggestions. For example, their neckline in the open neck shirt is way to wide and low. I had to alter it ti wear it!I love their product. It is so soft, warm, cool, and comfortable--but I am very disappointed. .They have not been open to feedback. They could learn a lot from their customers who love and want to support them. I'm so frustrated that I can love a brand so much, and then be so disappointed in the changing quality of the product and their inability to hear what customers want in terms of quality, design, style, and even colors. I still have all of the older items and can compare the generations of older and newer knit fabrics, designs, and styles. The company should listen to feedback, see what I've or others have purchased, what works and what doesn't. However, It seems that their design team and quality control is not open to feedback. They're off designing and not listening or responding.I want to support and continue wearing this product. I want them to continue some of their older and better designs, styles, and quality fabrics. but at this point, I don't know what to do.Still waiting for them to return my calls.I'm still willing to revise my review, IF they care enough to respond to my messages.

Good intro to Merino wool - I'm mostly happy with it!
I love traveling and I've heard many travelers sing the praises of Merino wool clothing. It's pricey though, and when I found this zip up hoodie it was on sale for under $40 so I jumped on it. I was looking for the following: Warmth but also breathability, wrinkle-resistant, lightweight, stays fresh-smelling even through multiple wears. This brand isn't as pricy as several others but still when paying full price the hoodie would be around $100 and I would expect a lot from it at that price. I've been wearing it regularly for over a month now and my thoughts are that I like it, I don't love it. It is lightweight, I wouldn't say it's warm but it is breathable and good for layering. I think in a cooler climate it would be great under a lightweight down jacket. It doesn't wrinkle super easily and I totally agree that you can wear it, pack it, sweat in it, wear it some more and shove it in your backpack and forget about it, then pull it out and it will still smell clean and not be terribly wrinkled. My biggest complaint about this is actually the style. It's got an odd neckline that looks weird when you have it zipped up part way. Full zip it looks fine, unzipped it looks fine. Hope that makes sense, it's just styled oddly. Also, I feel like the company tries to make it sound like their stuff isn't made in China, but it is. They make a point to say "Designed in Seattle" but don't add where it's actually made. On the inside label it says "Made in PRC." Again, that's odd because most stuff just says it's made in China, right? I feel like PRC is a little sneaky because at first glance you might not think China. I am not faulting them for the stuff being made there, it's just a little disingenuous.

Perfect fit
Love it, it fits perfectly. I'm 5'4" and 190lbs and got the XL. It's got stretch and thick enough to provide good warmth. The neck opening is plenty big and can be worn a few different ways which is great. The thumb holes feel reinforced which is nice to. I want another already.

High quality, very warm!
Ran to the store yesterday in this, about 40 degrees outside. Had a light weight hiking too under and jeans. Every part of me was cold with the exception of my trunk and arms which were very warm! Definitely buying more from their line, worth every penny! The material is so soft and light I didn’t think it would impart so much warmth! No itch at all. And the hood actually covers my head with material to spare! Buy it, you won’t be sorry! I probably could have gone with a medium, but it’s nice to be able to layer. And it’s long, covers most of my seat nicely.

Only had it for a couple of weeks and...
I've only had this for a couple of weeks and it's already falling apart. A hole in the sleeve and I had to sew the top of the zipper back on. Lots of loose threads too. Piling/fuzzing is a concern as well. These fabrics do that of course. But not after only 5 wearings around the house
