Very easy to install and worked great

For about 20 years I've tried various solutions to sealing the skimmer for the winter. Until this product, I've always had some leakage. I've had this through two winters (well, about 2 months to go) and it seals perfectly. It's a little snug to install, but I use Magic Lube or similar product which helps with installation as well as sealing. Much easier than removing skimmer face plate screws as was needed for prior versions that I used, which were never 100% effective, as this one is. Would absolutely buy again.

It fits perfectly in to my skimmer, feels like a decent quality product but it doesn't fully seal. There is water getting past it. It should keep the ice from pushing in to the skimmer this winter but the water level will drain down to the bottom of the skimmer opening over time. It doesn't leak much, but it is not a water tight seal by any means. Better than nothing I guess.

So far so good. Put it on today, so far no leaks. UPDATE to follow. Important to measure correctly before purchase.

This skimmer works great. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. Now I won't have to fill my pool up at the beginning of next season. The level should be pretty much all set. I would highly recommend this skimmer plug to anyone.
