3rd time out it broke (see Pic) initially loved it, Good leather and suede material along with some synthetic where the laces lay. however, it easily pulled out one of the lacing hooks and the two decorative metal buttons fell off. Just very poor rivets. Too bad as everything else is really good quality. also worked well to shield my forearm from the string.Update: The vendor reached out to me to address my issues. They sent me another one at no charge in exchange for an update if I was satisfied. the new guard is greatly improved quality with none of the previous issues. I am upgrading my rating to that effect

Family of archers. Super cool looking, light, string does not get snatched at. Soft enough to not rub, sturdy enough to support and not wrinkle with movement. Easy in and off with one hand. Now we will get them for the whole family.

I was somewhat put off by some negative comments herein, but I decided to go ahead with the purchase anyway. Glad I did because this arm guard is plenty big for me - and it fits me just fine - more than adequately covers the otherwise exposed skin on my bow arm with two layers of real, thick leather, and prevents bow-string bruise and burn. And besides looking good, the colors also match my three-finger glove.I will disagree with those who claim the guard is too small to fit around the forearm because the guard is an open design and will fit just about any forearm. Where it might not serve completely is on someone with very long forearms or someone whose elbow folds out more than 180 degrees.I will also disagree with those that claim the guard is hard to put on or take off. It doesn't have to laced onto your forearm tightly. I leave it loosely tied but still snug enough so it stays in place, and have no trouble putting it on or taking it off.

This is a little more than you need in the way of an arm guard but I bought it cause it reminded me of something from a movie or game and I'm a nerd. It is really thick and protects your arm well. My only downside is that it can be a bit hard to remove sometimes. Other than that I really like it.

The item quality is top notch. However I have large for arms which make the item a hair bit to small. My forearm measures 13 in at its largest, this gives a gap of about 1 and half inches. If your forearm measures above 11 inches this item will likely not fit. Again good quality item just be aware of size.

This is a great armguard for people with small hands. Anyone with large hands will have a hard time with it but it's just my luck on not paying attention lol. Hard to get off of you're sweaty.

I'm regular sized guy. These are too small to lace up at the top, leaves a gap. Seems to be made okay, but if I cannot wear them, craftsmanship doesn't really matter.

I love how this guard fits. As a woman, I was afraid it would swallow my arm. However, it fits me nicely. So gentlemen with large forearms, I'd suggest you compare your measurements to the measurements in the description before purchasing. I am so happy I got this arm guard!

I shoot a 45lb re-curve and was getting bruises every time. I found this thing and man does it ever help, i still get light bruising, mostly because its a little short (I'm not small) but the real kicker is how it looks, real leather, nice tie-offs and that little decorative metal is convenient for helping you slide it on.I'd buy this again, but id be surprised if I need to..
