a lot of the jokes would have to be explained to a 5,6 and maybe even 7 year olds. a lot of the words have double meanings, in a nice way, but I don't think younger children would get it until you explain it to them. would return if I could. wish there was a book store near by, would have liked to look at it first before I purchased

A great eye catching book to get the most resistant eight year old interested in reading! She even started coming up with her own jokes. They make no sense but she thinks they're funny so that's all that matters.

I got this book for my 10 y.o. granddaughter. She considers herself a good joke teller & LOVED these! She thought they were funny and original! She has even told some to her friends with lots of LOL!!! Great for kids libraries and Awesome for girls parties &/or sleepovers!!
