I love this brand because it is non toxic! This shave bar lathers really nice and leaves your skin smooth. I don’t love the smell it’s sort of manly, it has a dirty patchouli smell. But it’s a great USA made, clean option!

I really love and highly recommend this product. Used it a few times now, it goes on pretty easily and is clear so I can see exactly where I’m shaving. Plus it leaves my skin very soft.I feel like it’s a lot better for the environment as well since I’m not throwing away a can of shaving cream anymore. It does come in a thin layer of plastic but a lot less waste as compared to a can of shaving cream so it’s a great option for the planet as well.The scent was very strong when I first opened it but I don’t notice it being that strong now so that’s all good. I wish it lathered a little bit more to create a bit more of a barrier between the skin and razor but I’m sure when I use it a bit more it’ll be perfect. It’s definitely not so little to cut you so you don’t have to work about that. It works great for me.

This shave soap is pretty good. I really like that I can read all the ingredients on the back of the package.The soap lathers nicely and helps with a smooth shave and does not have an overpowering smell so it can definately be used for men and women. It does have patchouli in it, which I have never been a fan of. Eventhough it has patchouli, it doesn't smell like it too much.It does have a 1 year shelf life due to no preservatives, and depending on how long it takes you to use one bar, I wouldn't stock up on a year's supply all at once.What I like the most is that it is manufactured in the USA and I can read every word in the ingredients. I use it on my legs but for someone that uses it on their face I wouldn't want to have all kinds of chemicals.

The bar creates a very emollient foam and leaves skin soft and moist. HOWEVER, my main reason for buying this product was to cut down on the amount of plastic I buy and use. So, I was very disappointed to find that the bar, already encased in a cardboard box, was also wrapped in plastic film, which is not recyclable. :-( I would encourage this company to eliminate the plastic wrap - it's totally unnecessary. Until then, I will have to shop for a different product.
