Fantastic but need refinement
I just got this today, and is one of the coolest and best looking things have a robot in for my controller it's better than buying a trigger extenders which tend to fall off when the triggers themselves are twice the length of the stock triggers I also enjoy the feel and the cool touch the feeling of metal. But there's only one real problem that I have and that problem is the triggers those stylish and wonderful in every way they do tend to stick mean that they're so sensitive the Triggers on the Gen 2 controller for the PS4 being that it's there so sensitive just the weight of the aluminum triggers alone is enough to trigger the trigger basically now this isn't super consistent but it happens and I would suggest if the maker of these was paying attention to the reviews of the these that if you mix another batch of them he should make the triggers a lighter and maybe not solid a solid piece but bore out a little bit from it maybe even just make it the play no trigger trigger blank to prevent the the ghost trigger affect even Hollow it out the back the part where the people don't touch make it a little bit lighter

Was not disappointed with the quality.
Install difficulty varies by how much wear the controller already has and if it's the only install you are doing. I did this with an 8 month old crystal of moderate use, along with a new back assembly with grip texturing. Direction buttons, thumbsticks, and r1/l1 fit like factory, though the aluminum nature or it does make the thumb sticks a little slick(fixed by putting cheap rubber boots with a drop of glue over them). If you look at the pictures for the product, the X/O/□/^ look a little haphazard due to them using 3 of one casting and 1 of the other. I thankfully recieved 2 of each casting(buttons only have main tabs, not 3rd identifier tab. Pick the order that looks best to you). L and R triggers are of nice shape and size. They don't wobble, so it's not a spring issue, but when first installed the body of the trigger was dragging on the back case edge, resulting in the trigger occasionally staying compressed until being flicked with the edge of your lower fingers. This was most likely my fault for replacing 2 aftermarket parts at the same time, and only lasted the first week or so till the parts became more adjusted(aluminum beats plastic). Over all, well built, solid feel, really pop against the blood drip grip and red electric vinyl wrap. Now, if only the red internal lights I ordered from someone else didn't come apart in shipping, my controller would be perfect.

L2 and R2 button issues
1. This kit is overpriced, I got it for $25.592. Only buttons that did not fit or work were the L2 and R2 buttons3. L2/R2 buttons do not operate well, and they might mess up your springs fast.4. At that price range you might as well buy mini red Hori ps4 controller, which I should have done instead since they are around $265. installing the r2/l2 buttons were not easy and the springs were getting strained in the process. They say to look up youtube but it does not show a video for the right model for these button set. Another thing is that you might be better off with iFixit products or other sets that also include the ps home, option, share and touchpad buttons. The manufacturer is Z

I was skeptical at first but I'm now extremely happy
This is a great product BUT BUT!!! It wasn't a Flawless install. There is a surface on each one of the triggers that contacts the button inside the controller. This surface was not machined down far enough so after I reassembled the controller with the new aluminum triggers it was registering trigger pulls without me actually pulling the trigger so I had to file the surfaces down about a millimeter or two and then reassemble. I used to work at a machine shop so I understand how to do this kind of work by hand but for the average person it is a huge problem. It only took me about five minutes to fix so I'm still very happy with the product. As a bonus it gives the controller a tiny bit of extra weight which doesn't make it feel heavy but makes it feel much more substantial to hold I enjoy it very much

They are Perfect for extending the life of your controller...but
This product does what you think it would. You need to know that it improves l3 performance in stupid games that use l3 for sprint when l1 is way better and they should put it as an option in every game. *cough* cod *cough* Beware this will affect your gameplay if you use the slide method on the right button pad. The color is nice, gold is cool. If you get frustrated easily then you're better off hiring someone to replace them for you. Functionality is solid and they will make my 5-year-old controller last 5 more years most likely. Still, the installation process gave me a few grey hairs. Granted, it was my first time dismantling a ps4 controller. Buy it if you want to extend your controller life without spending 70 on a new controller. Metal takes getting used to, but it's actually pretty nice. I can see why some wouldn't like it though if you want a smoother touch.

Buyer Beware - If they don’t fit they will break your controller
If I could give negative stars I would. At the same time I’ll try to be as honest as possible. The quality of the buttons/triggers is good. They are solid and feel good in your hand. They do not fit! Al the buttons fit and looked good but R2 was slightly larger then the rest and I had to really pop it on place. This caused to much tension on the trigger and the spring couldn’t return the trigger in its normal position after being pressed. No biggie just return and get a new set I get it items have defects some times. However the larger size caused the part attached to the controller to stretch I guess. Because when I put the originals back on it wouldn’t stay in place.Luckily it’s my back up controller or shall I say was. It is now nonfunctional hence the 1 star. I had to order a new control.Buyer beware that if your buttons or triggers don’t easily snap into place... do not push them or force them it will damage your controller. Return and grab a new set.
