Always perfect size and good closure with Butler Creek

I have had this lens cover for a few weeks now on a Burris MTAC, mounted to my AR. The lens cap fit perfectly snug, and does not move. However, it was not hard to mount, thus fitment seems perfect. As for quality, this is exactly what I would expect for a lens cap $10 shipped to my door (I have Prime). I probably wouldnt go to war with it, but I've taken it to the range with me in my hardcase, and no issues. It pops open pretty quietly, as advertised. I know I have only had it for a few weeks, but when it snaps open, it feels pretty solid when it stops. For me, it was worth every penny to protect my $400 optic from the normals.

Pros...Dang near everything. Butler Creek, BC, scope covers have never failed me and i was stupid enough to try others that said more, cost more and performed miserably.Cons...beware of price gouging. some sellers on Amazon have marked up BC scope covers to over $20. no BC does have some expensive scope covers but that is for those 24x to 84x, 40mm tube and 88mm objective lens. in other words the very high end $5000+ specialty scopes.availability. sometimes, but lately more often due to "issues", the covers that are needed in the sizes needed are unavailable. for this cover i literally waited 6 months for it to be back in stock.Overall...Check out Butler Creek's YouTube channel for their methods on how to get the proper measurements for the objective lens and the eyepiece assembly of your scope.Butler Creek also has great customer service. very helpful and very knowledgeable about scopes and they'll teach you on how, for example, a 50mm objective and a 40mm eyepiece assembly really isn't 50mm and 40mm.Closing...Great product. Great price. Highly recommend.

Fit chart isn't even close. If you have a Nikon 4-12x44, do NOT use the fitting chart. Use a size 16 eye piece cover and a size 30 objective lens cover. Both are a couple one hundreths of an inch too small, but the rubber will flex for that and they will stay snug. When at all possible, USE YOUR CALIPERS AND MAKE YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS, then compare with the scope cap dimensions. The fitting chart will betray you!Other than that, the scope caps work extremely well. They fit snug, they snap into place, they stay closed when closed, up when up, and will prevent you from ever leaving your scope caps at the range again.

Well..these are the best and are of fine quality. Disregard the knuckleheads who state they do not fit and they are over or under the size. Bottom line because your scope has a 50 mil objective lens does not mean you order a 50! The ocular and objective (or bell) true diameters are different than the lens diameter. Measure the "true diameter" of your scope lens O.D. then go to the Butler Creek website and figure out the correct size before ordering. Warning to the wise, DO NOT GO UNDER the O.D (Outside Diameter) of your ocular or objective sizes. Ensure the lens is just over the size, trust me it will fit tight. They will fit great and work fantastic. I promise you will be satisfied over even the best stock scope covers (this goes for Leupolds and NighForces as well).

Easy install works as should. Would recommend.

Bought this for a Bushnell 1-4×24 ffp ar optic and fit perfectly. Ive been buying Butler Creek scope caps for quite some time and go on every scope I have.

当初はサイズが合えばパチモンの激安前後セット品でも…と思っていたのですがコッチを買っておいて正解でした先にマルイ製スコープ用に（ショートズームスコープとPSG-1用純正スコープ）サイズ14を買っていたのですがもう一挺持っていた別のライフル（SW M24）のスコープカバーをまだコイツにしてなかったのを思い出しサイズ16を追加購入（スコープはネット通販で溢れかえっている中華製の3-12×50）購入前にスコープ接眼側の直径を測ってそれに近いサイズ（バトラークリークサイズ≦接眼側実測値）を選びました構えたまま親指のワンプッシュでオープン出来るので使い出したら止められませんね

品質はいいです。ANS製のサイドフォーカススコープの接眼には少し弛いのでテープで調整しました。
