Calling this a book is a bit much. It's thin on content, more like a pamphlet with extra. I was surprised when I received it because it was so small and thin. So buyer beware.That said the information is great - what there is of it. It could easily drill down much more into the topics, you know, like a real book would.

This little book packs a lot of information inside. This is a great resource to start a search with. It touches on critical elements of searching for farmland without being overbearing. If a reader wants to know more about any particular item, there is an extensive list of related material throughout and in an appendix. The author also created a collection of forms, available online, to use in conjunction with the chapters of the book to help systematize a search. I haven't accessed those yet but plan to in the near future. Well done.

Handy little paperback book that includes basic information on what you need to know before buying a small farm. Easy read with good information.

I heard the author speak at a local conference and new this was a great reference book to have.
