PLNVOY4220 - Plantronics Voyager 4200 UC Series Bluetooth Headset

I'm a big fan of Plantronics. Maybe I've just gotten lucky and bought all the right devices at all the right times -- or maybe Plantronics products are just good. The Plantronics Voyager 4220 UC headset is excellent. I'm a heavy user in that I'm on conference calls all day long -- 8+ hours, 5 days a week. My clients use a variety of video conference tools (Google Meets, WebEx, GoToMeeting, Zoom, BlueJeans, et al). I connect my audio through this headset connected to my iPhone. This has been very stable and fellow attendees have confirmed my audio quality is excellent.Unlike an over-the-ear headset, this model does press against my ear. After some hours, I do have to take the headset off and run my ears a while before I jump onto my next call. I don't blame Plantronics for this as I willingly purchased this headset knowing it was an on-ear model. I wanted a lighter style with more ability to hear background noise. Over-the-ear headsets can provide Cadillac-like comfort, but sometimes I felt a little too isolated from the world outside of my call.I installed the Plantronics and Alexa apps on my iPhone which extends the feature set. It is a bit annoying to have to open both apps, but I've gotten used to it and added it to my morning routine before I jump on calls.This is not meant to be a music headset, but I have listened to music with it and the quality was acceptable. Keep you high-end headset for music; you'll appreciate the full tonal range and comfort.

I purchased this to replace my Plantronics UC Focus because I accidentally brok my headset. This fits nice and has a wider, more secure head band piece. I use this at work and on my iphone. It works great with both. The only downfall I have found so far is it does not come with a stand to hold the headpiece while it is charging (which I am used to having with my old UC Focus)

A very Versatile bluetooth headset with decent sound, but very poor on adjustments. The headset kept falling off of my head, which deterred from being able to enjoy the headset. The microphone was a little to large and bulky. I felt it could be smaller and still be effective.

Dislike: the price is too high, can’t move the mic to the left side (you can flip the headset but the stereo sound may not be the same according to the manual)Like: everything else!Bottom line: I would buy these again

After ten months the right earpiece no longer carried sound. A $200.00 headset should last longer than that. As to functionality, I would have preferred that this headset also include voice recognition, such as some other of the Plantronics products. Given the quality and lack of this feature, I consider it to be over-priced.

I work remotely and spend most of the day on the phone on conference calls. I have owned various Plantronics headsets for at least 10 years now, and this one is by far the best. Not only does it pair quickly and easily with my desktop or laptop computers for online web meetings, it also pairs with my cell phone. I've been told that I sound great on receiving end, and it seems to filter out the ambient sounds in and around my home office (gardeners, dogs barking, etc.). This is the perfect headset for anyone who spends extended amounts of time on calls or works remotely.

Beware ! I ordered these and 6 months later they started to lag and not connect to my laptop anymore . At first everything was going well and then BOOM it goes out. They have a lot of these listed everywhere and yes the will work until after your return window and then they tell you “so sorry it’s too late” one of the worst purchases ever !!!!

They are not 100% noise canceling which i like. If someone comes up to me, I can hear them. The talk time in 11+ hours. Very impressed with clarity of transmission.
