Magma Sketchbook: Film & Animation (Magma Sketchbooks) Diary – August 12, 2014

I love that this has shot planning worksheets AND regular empty pages to jot down your thoughts and ideas. Superb for anyone who has a film project in mind but has a difficult time organizing their thoughts or simply figuring out where to begin. These sketchbooks organize thought processes in such a way that assist artists with transforming the abstract into concrete.Good luck to everyone and their projects!

I like this sketchbook a lot. The pages are thick and the book lays flat. There is not a lot of ghosting on the pages either.

Not exactly what I expected. I thought I was getting a book with mostly blank storyboards. There's maybe about 20 pages of that. The rest is just blank sketchbook pages and some information. The book is quite nice for a sketchbook, though. Disappointed that I paid this much for something that is misleadingly advertised.

Exactly what I wanted. Nice mix of blank and templates pages. Came oddly damaged like someone cut the back with a razor or something. Not bad enough to go through the hassle of an exchange but annoying nonetheless

I thought it was going to be filled with more information and have squares for scenes or a good fill in yourself portions to draft ideas, acts/etc to help construct ideas in the traditional sense of film and animation.That wasn't the case The pages are not dotted or lined, so its pretty useless for trying to write out ideas and it was received bent with cracks.Save yourself some money get a notebook and just go online and find stuff yourself.-I fell for the marketing :(
