First I’ll address the issue of the chalk pen.Upon opening the neat plastic ziplock pouch the roll of labels and pen are delivered with, the pen didn’t work.However, on closer inspection I observed that the tip was loose so I removed it whilst I gave the pen a good shake. I intended to dampen the tip in the hope that it might enable it to absorb the liquid chalk, but I noticed that it was “double” ended. The end visible initially was cut squarely (ie. it was blunt, rather than shaped to a bullet-shaped point like a felt-tip pen), whilst the opposite end was cut to a chisel shape.I figured that it had been inserted inversely for a reason or that it came out because it was supposed to, giving the user the choice of style. In any case, being fond of calligraphic styled writing when the whim takes me, I re-inserted it with the chisel tip exposed.A quick push down whilst holding the pen perpendicularly to the label delivered a satisfactory dot of moist white “chalk,” and we were in business.A few minutes later and my first labels were written.To avoid smears I recommend leaving the label a good few minutes to allow the chalk to dry, and if you are writing a few, it is better to work down the roll so that your hand does not come into contact with the label you just wrote.The labels themselves are easy to write on and super-easy to apply and remove for any adjustments to its position. They have an almost matt finish, and feel strong enough to give you confidence when removing them from the roll or repositioning them.A wipe over with a damp cloth removes the chalk if you wish to make any changes, followed by a quick dry with a piece of kitchen roll, and it is ready to be written on again.To sum up: great value, great product, great fun labelling baking products with humorous names (sultanas are now sun-dried slugs, currants are dead flies, and shell-shaped pasta are now ear-holes), and a pleasing purchase.

Great labels for storage in and around home. Easy to use and looks great

This is really good for thoae small Ikea jars! You can use the cover in shaping the sticker to round shape.The tape itself is really good quality and it pays itself with the price. Knowing the quality now I would have taken it without the pen: it sticks well, but is also really easy to take off when needed and still has stickiness for second round.But the pen unfortunately isn't good. I deal with pens quite a lot so I tried all the tricka I knew to get quality text but as with many cheap products it unfortunately doesn't do that good of a job. There's a wee bit where I had all the colour and nowhere else so in the end I even tried cutting it a bit hoping that would concentrate the colour everywhere and that helped to a point.I would recommend buying this and high quality pens separately.But I still gave this 4 stars as the stickers are extremely good and is the star here.

I have put some labels on my reuse packaging at home (bottles, plastics tubs etc).They look good and are easy to wrote with the chalk. I washed a plastic tub with a sticker attached, at 60 degs C top shelf and the sticker stated put.Liquid chalk rubs off very easily, so prepare to re-write the label often, or for temporary use items. Such as adding a date.I’ve not tried to remove the label as yet.

Just a great simple idea and prompt delivery too!

The stickers work well and look good on the brown glass bottles I use them with. They come off fairly easy, not too sure how reusable they are but they leave no residue and still seem fairly sticky to touch when removed.The pen however is quite poor. It doesn't really dry and the chalk is easily smeared even after hours after it's been applied. It does rub off well but I put this down to it never actually drying.

Great product. Once the writing dries, it becomes permanent. Already bought another pack. I use it for marking my pantry bottles.
