Love this high quality, concise guide to gardening. It has vibrant pictures to accompany text that is easy to understand . I am a novice gardener and find it to be a great guide to basics with extras for the more experienced grower! I purchased 5 , one for my use and 4 to give as gifts. I know this information can be found in bits and pieces, but holding a glossy paged old fashioned book is refreshing.

Garden-pedia is portable, very well designed, and a fun read with a generous amount of illustrations and photography. The concise and entertaining content keeps one turning the page with anticipation. I love it and I will be getting more copies to give away as gifts! The authors are talented with outstanding credentials, but they are anything but pretentious. Pick up this encouraging book for your favorite gardening teenager or retired master gardener. The two will have plenty to talk about.

I purchased Garden-pedia for my mom, a casual gardener and myself - not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination. It is an excellent resource for everything that is a "must know" and doesn't overwhelm the average gardener with intimidating horticultural terminology.It is an informative and fun read. The pictures are self explanatory and the descriptions are concise. I liked it so much that I just ordered another copy as a gift.

Clear, concise, so much bundled into a small size! I found immediately upon receiving my copy several terms I've wanted to know, but hadn't taken the time to drag out a larger dictionary or gardening encyclopedia to look them up!. Sits perfectly on my kitchen shelf with my recipe books!
