Used this on side of Bath to cover up hair dye! Looks really good

I bought this to cover a pair of foamboard shutters that I made for a short but very wide dormer window.This product is excellent quality and looks fantastic - exactly like real 'distressed' wood even close up - ideal for that shabby chic look.Although it's very easy to apply (just measure, cut and peel off the backing paper) be warned, the contact adhesive is EXTREMELY strong and almost feels like a strong magnet pulling it towards the surface when you apply it. It's impossible to peel off again and reposition if you make a mistake once it's stuck down (or at least it was with the foamboard I was using), so you need to go really slowly to make sure you get it right the first time or (depending on what you are covering) you probably won't get another chance to try.That said, it was very easy to smooth out any minor bubbles and creases once applied and bubbles don't return like they often do on the cheaper self-adhesive plastics.It's very clear from the description that there are only 2 metres on a roll by approx 30cm wide, so a roll doesn't go very far - you may need more than you think.Although not cheap for such a small roll, I feel it's good value for money and gives a professional-looking finish for very little effort.As stated above, my only niggle was being unable to reposition it, hence 4*.

Used this to cover a cardboard box to make a really stunning storage box. The colours are great with the kind of weathered look I love. Couldn’t be more pleased. I did notice the price has just increased from what I only recently paid. I understand this is how things are now but thought I would note this as I rated it 5 for value for money.

I will say I love about 70% of the finished look - its a beautiful, subdued, blue, green and grey colourway - like distressed painted wood rather than overtly fake or garish (as I was afraid it would be!). It also reflects light back well without being plasticy or glaring, so is a great way to brighten dull surfaces.However it is HORRID to apply!Some of this is that as well as being incredibly adhesive, it is also immensely static-building; so even if you follow the instruction and only peel small areas, one minor misstep and it'll curl in on itself or flip over and boom - print side stuck to the sticky side and its unsalvageable.Whats worse though, is that the material is slightly flexible, so its easy to accidentally warp it as you apply it, but also form-retaining: And as its tightly rolled onto a tube that is too small, about half of the rolls I received had wrinkles in them that were permanent. Nothing I've tried has removed these - and at first I thought it was me, so I literally wasted two rolls, before I realised nope - its a fault on the way they're presented. The barrel they're rolled around should be at least three or four times larger so as to keep the product smooth.So yes - WHEN you can get the result right, it looks awesome - and I love that its all wipe clean etc - but its a beast to use on a large area and really badly presented to enable you to get the best finish.

Needed to do something to my drawers so thought try , it was so easy to put on easy to measure cut and trim , with no tares I did buy extra just incase , so now have surplus to put else ware to match ,

The media could not be loaded. The stick back wood affect did not stick it's all coming undone at the edges and bubbles all through it even though we keep pushing them out they just come back. We took the door off laid it flat stuck it on with no bubbles with in ours it looked like this. Not impressed at all. Waste of money and our time as it took hours to do.

found it a bit tricky putting 1st 1 on got a lot of bubbles.then decided to cut smaller peices and it went on much easier pleased with the outcome

Utilizzato per ricoprire la superficie superiore (ripiano) di un tavolo in legno massello , esposto perennemente al sole e alla pioggia.Dopo un anno è perfetto.Oltretutto è davvero elegante;sembra legno originale.Inutile dire che è anche comodo perchè ,rispetto al legno vivo, per pulirlo ci vuole un attimo.

Usato per coprire il piano di un mobiletto del bagno che con il continuo bagnarsi si stava rovinando. Con pochi euro non ho dovuto comprare un altro mobile del bagno. Perfettamente aderente alla superficie e di semplicissimo utilizzo. Bello anche il disegno.

Mit einer MDF Platte verarbeitet gibt diese Folie eine schöne optische Arbeitsfläche mit Meer und Strandfeeling. Um mit dem Laptop auf der Couch zu arbeiten sehr zu empfehlen ;) Hier sollte aber erwähnt sein, das die Folie recht glatt ist was für eine Mouse vorteilhaft, für den Laptop mit Antirutschfüssen gut zu nutzen ist.Beim Anbringen der Folie nur kleine Flächen von der Trägerfolie abziehen und mit Ruhe kleine Stücke mit einem spachtelähnlichen Werkzeug (habe eine ausgediente Bankkarte genutzt) andrücken.Würde diese Folie wieder kaufen
