Five Stars
The parts arrived promptly and were relatively easy to install. It is a bit challenging to program the openers.

The alternative is to simply shut off circuit power and flip the internal outlet over in the other orientation inside the power-box for cases like this then reassemble and turn power back on
It worked as advertised. I'd give it 5 stars except for a minor nuisance that is typical with most of these AC strip plug-in style of devices. It hooked right up no problem but because I had to plug it into the garage ceiling AC receptacle I was unable to fit it directly in place at the AC jack since the receiver AC power prongs are polarized to one orientation and my garage opener motor and assembly just unluckily has a metal brace that is in the way of the orientation it wants to be in to mount flush to the ceiling. The alternative is to simply shut off circuit power and flip the internal outlet over in the other orientation inside the power-box for cases like this then reassemble and turn power back on. A design improvement would be to have a swivel AC plug to let us orient the strip in the other direction (CW or CCW) for cases like this.I ended up simply using a cheap AC power strip with a short AC power extension to get the physical room to plug into the ceiling AC outlet so I then had all the options I wanted on where to let it hang or mount. I ended up using nylon wire wrap straps to hold the AC power strip vertical and just plugged this external receiver right into it and wired the control signal lines straight into the Door Opener's push-button wire jacks - simple push in connectors. The tie wraps are ample mechanical support to keep it all up there out of the way.Recommend programming/synchronizing at least one of the remotes first as the master while easy to work on from the ground. before going up to wire it all on a ladder to get the confidence it all works. I tested it by going straight into the existing manual push button assembly while on the ground to make sure it all worked before getting up on the ladder to mount it (simple AC extension cord to get it close enough to wire it up direct to the the push button terminals on the wall to test it. Later after confirming the transmitters and door are opening OK I just go up on the ladder and install it direct to the motor on the same connections that that wall push button wires into (#3 and #4 on most garage wiring plug harnesses). Simple job.Receiver reception is FANTASTIC. Much greater remote distance than my old 40 Mhz system that is now obsolete and no longer made - probably because of less interference from other devices in or near that old frequency range. The only weird thing with this system is that the old receiver is still active if there are any old remotes around that have your old security codes that could still be used (if they are still working) to open it. If anyone was paranoid about that they could reset the old codes or just cut the old antenna or get inside it and find the old receiver power line and cut it off electrically so its impossible to ever use again without gaining physical access to reconnect it all up again..Good cost-effective system.

Perfect cost saving solution
We have an older garage door opener with a smooth open and close motion. The remote clickers did not work and the manufacturer stopped making them. This was a great solution and saved us from replacing the entire opener.

If you're not an electrician don't bother buying this. Extremely difficult to install.
Difficult to install. Directions difficult to follow. Don't bother buying this, it'd be easier to get a new garage door opener and have it professionally installed.

Serves the purpose
Does not have a very good range for the remote. I have to be within 15 feet of the garage door for it to open from the outside. Very easy installation and reasonable price.

The Garage Door opens now nice and smoothly
Just what I needed. My Garage door is very old and replacement parts are hard to find. I was told buy the Martin garage door company.that my whole unit was to old and I needed a new receiver and transmitter. .I then called a Martin Garage Door local repair company in Phoenix where they told me they would charge $185 to purchase and install the receiver that included one remote. Being on a fixed income I called the Martin garage door company again and they emailed me the Amazon web site for the unit I needed. The price was just a fraction of what the local Phoenix company wanted. When I installed the receiver all I had to do was to call Martin Doors and they talked me through the install. within 5 minutes it was installed and I saved lots of money. The Garage Door opens now nice and smoothly. Great product just what I needed and Martin Garage doors are wonderful doors.
