This is a good upgrade for my Ender 3. It is easy enough to install. Just replacing like for like. The reason for me getting it was the plastic stock extruder eventually gets worn and starts to score and decay and can cause your filament to get caught and snag. This can lead to under extrusion. One problem I had was getting the tension right too much and it will skip and churn leading to under extrusion. To loose and you dont get enough extrusion. Once you find the right tension your golden. My tip would be to turn your printing speed down to 50m/s or even 40m/s. In all it's a good edition but like most things in 3D printing its a learning curve.

This is a good replacement for the plastic extruder that ships with the ender 3. I was really disappointed though that the connectors for the Boden tube are so poorly made. One of the connectors came away and the other locked in place and would not separate. I ended up using the ones that shipped with the old extruder.

Wow all I can say really amazing has extra clips and spares makes massive additions to my ender 3 pro no issues with install and such an improvement... make sure you re calibrate the printer though as it pulls filament through better it was slightly off the original my 0.02mm not massive but I like it to be perfect

Old plastic part on my Ender 3 had cracked underneath the sprung arm. This all metal piece instantly improved the print quality and solved all my under extrusion issues.Easy to fit and works well.

Decent construction & fit, but no means of adjusting the spring tension & the supplied spring is frankly crap. I've shimmed the screw it fits over out with some washers & that's improved things a bit.

After my ender 3 dug a hole into the extruder arm I decided to replace with this one. Good quality, solid but did replace the spring with an uxcell one i had left over from the bed replacement springs.

Looks nice, works, took a bit of faffing about to get right, {don't forget to adjust feed speed for new spindle size} used on monoprice v2

Replaced stock extruder which I damaged by mistake within first 48h. Can't say if it's better than stock because I've only used stock for 48h but it's definitely easier to change filament.
