Dean and Tyler Wire Basket Muzzle, Size No. 9 - German Shepherd

I really like this muzzle. It fits my GSD great and the padded nose really is nice.Downside it that there is not enough areas to attach it to a collar. I cut down a mini kitten collar and clipped it on in a loop to the muzzle straps to the collar. It has helped keep it in place all around.

According to the size chart I wasn't sure if getting size 8 or 9. But I went with the size 9 since most of the measurements were according to size 9. Rocco is a large GSD around 80 to 90 pounds. It's his first time being muzzled. Getting the muzzle was to prevent him from being aggressive to passing stranger near our home and attacking other dogs. And besides that, him eating chicken poop.

Everything by this company is quality. But this was very well made, and exceptional. Will last a long time. And very adjustable. Fits my German Shepherd, as well as my lab and bloodhound. Just adjust to fit head size

This product does what it is intended to do. My dog is unable to slip out of it which is essential. I gave it three stars due to the fact that my dog cut her chin on the metal. In order to prevent this i had to wrap a cloth around the bottom bars to prevent her from cutting herself when she barks with this on.

We previously had a Baskerville muzzle (size 5) for our GSD and it never really fit properly. His mouth had managed to slip out of it on multiple occasions which obviously defeats the purpose. This Tyler and Dean basket muzzle has been a life saver and changed our lives from stressful interactions to having the ability to be more relaxed. It fits almost perfectly, like it was designed just for him. VERY happy with this product, good quality and great design!

I have a GSD/ACD mix with a blocky head and odd proportions; this muzzle fits great. It does sit a little close to his eyes, but a size down would be too small - this one allows him to drink and pant and take treats. High quality material and basket, very impressed with the quality. A fellow trainer recommended a “D&T” muzzle, and I looked it up - Dean and Tyler was a brand I had not heard of, but I’m glad I did. Blows a Baskerville muzzle out of the water. Will be recommending these to all my clients that want to muzzle train their dogs.

Meets the purpose however it doesn't come with any instructions on how to put on your dog. So we spent many hours in trial and error, adjusting the straps over and over , on and off of her muzzle. Still haven't found the right fit but gets us in and out of that without incident

This is a great muzzle, fits my shepherd. Makes life so much easier. He likes the muzzle don’t try to get off . He can eat and drink he’s happy and then I’m happy.
