2015 Nissan Altima: Read the reviews by other buyers. Drove 2200 miles east to west coast. Cleaned rooftop, placed carpet slip resistant on roof, cut to fit purpose, placed bag on roof, wrapped all items in garbage bags, no sharp corners to rub inside bag & possible wear through or rip bag, zipper closure faced car rear end to keep weather from possibly entering bag, used metal climber closure hooks, used 27' yellow ratchet step, criss crossed over bag through the inside of the car, open all 4-doors...lol, rachet inside vehicle, used additional black/red rachet straps- see pictures. Endured rain, sleet, snow before we arrived at destinations. Also, bubble wrapped rachet handles above our heads to keep our heads safe getting in & out of vehicle. Extend the slip resistant carpet piece into your vehicle to protect car surface from straps possibly rubbing vehicle paint. It was a bit noisy from the outside wind & rain but tolerable. Great product!!

Well the quality of the product is good. I used it for a 10 hour roundtrip and at around 70-80mph. You should be carefull for how you organize the bags luggages you put inside. If you put hard corners facing the surface than the wind can cut it. Mine is damaged but its my fault. The design can be optimized by a foldable bottom layer..

Bought this thinking it would save space in the car for our road trip instead it was a waste of time and money. The carrier comes in a box and straps but no instructions at all on how to install. Looked online as well to no avail. Took about 3 hours to install as best we could. 2 hours into our trip we checked on it and saw that the whole bag already had cracks on the whole top. Made us nervous to drive on the I 95 like that, scared that we would cause an accident if our bags started falling out. We winded up stopping and moving all the bags into the car with us for the rest of the ride. Bad idea to purchase this.

Used product on top of 2018 Chevrolet traverse. Drive total of 4 hours and it cracked. Not happy with product at all. Contacted seller and they are sending another one to us at no cost. Hopefully this one is better. Thank you to the seller for making it right.

Through a torrential downpour and 700miles of interstate it survived. Not a scratch except for bugs plastered on the front of it.

This cargo bag didn’t last 6 hours into its first trip. The wind from driving shredded the bag

took it across country through bad storms did great. The straps that come with it are weak and had to by actual strap for the bag but the bag itself held up great. It was way bigger then I thought it would be but that was my miss calculation.

You can see from the photo that the bag fell apart. The material ripped wide open exposing our luggage. This product is not only garbage, it is unsafe and should be recalled.
