Did not work as expected
I sprayed after heating the logs but the results are minimal; no big change. I instead used Oxyclean and baking soda, made a paste and brush the logs with the paste solution and it removed all the soot completely off the fireplace wall liner and logs.

Used to clean fireplace glass. Terrible. I've used other products that cleaned the glass but not this one. Wasted my money.

Hard To Remove Soot
Followed the instructions, but the soot didn't really fall off the gas logs. And yes, I repeated the process severa time

Works on HOT logs
Amazingly effective on hot logs. Apply immediately after turning off the fire. I had to spot treat some areas by heating with a propane torch for a few seconds before spraying. Odorless, quick, easy. Leaves a grayish residue that does not detract from logs' appearance. Not for white (birch) logs.

My walls get so sooty in the winter as we heat with a propane burning ceramic log fireplace. It's disgusting. Nothing works it just spreads the soot. I used this and it didn't spread it. it's cleaner looking and alot better
