Mary Queen of Scots and All That (The And All That Series)

This is a well-written, concise history of Mary, Queen of Scots. I am teaching a Tudor history class for a homeschool co-op and this book is a perfect addition to my curriculum. The narrative flows well, the facts are dead on, but it is still fun to read. I think it is perfect for a 5-6th grader, but even older students would glean a lot of useful information from it. I plan on getting all of the books in this series. It will be a perfect addition for my library. The book is akin to the Horrible History series, but I like this better.

Ho acquistato questo volume (in lingua inglese) per l'ottimo prezzo, ora possa dire che sono soddisfatta anche del rapporto qualità/prezzo. E' un volume breve che descrive i passaggi principali della vita della regina Mary Stuart, arricchito da alcune simpatiche vignette. Consigliato a chi cerca qualche notizia in più sulla biografia di questo personaggio storico, ma non ha tempo/voglia di leggere libri più lunghi e approfonditi.

I loved this book. I am 21! Intitally when I bought it I thought it was just for kids but honestly after watching the show Reign (on Netflix) I thought this book provided so much information and was obviously an easy read! But anyone who wants to know the history (despite the age) get it.

Das Büchlein ist für Liebhaber der englischen Geschichte und Sprache ein Hochgenuss. Es setzt nicht allzu hohe Anforderungen an Sprachkenntnisse voraus.

Great book with lots of great facts about our Mary. Great humour and a great addition for a beginners research into this historical character!
