The chairs are exactly what I was looking for and were a reasonable price! I originally ordered 3 sets of 2 but only 2 sets arrived. When I contacted the company they sent a replacement right away (this was a UPS issue i believe). Once I got the replacements one of the chair leg pieces was broke so I had to reach out again. The same day they shipped a replacement leg. Very happy with how easy they were to work with as some companies are horrendous. My only complaint is all the stickers lol. Peeling them off each piece was not fun. Other than that I am very happy with them!

UPDATE: 2 years after purchase: The chairs did not hold up to a busy family well. We still have them but they show a lot of wear and the back support on one broke. The wood is soft so shows marks very easily. Another one has a split seat, but is still usable. I still think they are good replacement chairs if you are looking for something to get you through your kids being rough on things before investing in a nice dining set.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ordered 8 chairs to replace. Although assembly is a bit time consuming if you do not use power tools, they are very sturdy and great when assembled properly. Make sure to read the instructions and don't tighten everything until the chair is leveled. We have received several compliments on the chairs and have had them for 5 months now. My only complaint is one chair had a knot where a screw went in and it slightly popped it out. I am the only one who even knows it is there though.

This are great looking chairs. Appear strong and solid. It was easy to assemble. There are like 8 pieces for each chair not so hard as others have reviewed. they must have trouble with lego big blocks as well.

These chairs came packaged really well. The directions were easy to follow. I found it easier to use a drill with a hex bit and a phillips 2 than to use the Allen wrench and a hand screw driver. I put 8 of these together in a couple of hours I think to took me longer to remove the 2 chairs from the box and put all the packaging in the trash bag than it did to put the chairs together. I had a few out of I that felt a little wobbly but I will tighten screws after some use. I got the light gray wood and it looks really great with our simple black table from Ikea. I got these on sale at around $55 each chair which was a steal I think.

These chairs look pretty nice and are a good size, but the quality is just not there. The reviews seem to relect the level of quality control from the manufacturer. Some people love them and think they are sturdy, while others received poorly-made goods. Unfortunately, I was the latter. Too bad because I really like the look of these.Assembly was pretty straightforward; the directions clear. An interesting note: The final step is to check the chair for level on a hard surface. If it's not level, you're supposed drop the chair from about 30 cm (~1 ft.) letting all four legs hit the floor at the same time. This is supposed to knock everything into place. If it doesn' work, try it again. This seems to indicate that the parts were manufatured "close enough" to fitting together. *The stretcher should be 12.5" long, but we cut it 12.25". Whatever. Close enough. The customer can bang it around until it fits.*OK, so they're cheap. But they shouldn't BREAK when someone sits on them. Mine did; where the seat attaches to the rear legs/back piece. See pic. The leg split and the internal screw thingy pulled out of the leg. And NO, I did not break it by doing the "drop to make it level" part of the instructions.Return.

Sat in the chair and it split. Broken. Right at the point where the screw is underneath. We use this chair daily. Very disappointing

These chairs are very nice looking and comfortable / sturdy. The first chair took a while to figure out (and we put one of the bars in backwards) but the others went much more quickly! Delivery was fast.I only gave three stars because the price was $120 and then a week later $179 and Amazon wouldn’t honor the old price.

Good quality, sturdy chairs. Beautiful wood tone. Good size seat. Seat is flat, but still comfortable. Worth the price.

After 2 months of purchasing these chairs, 2 of the 4 chair seats cracked in half.
