Scott ArcheryCaliper Release

Great action and fit for me. I can see how it could be small for some people, but it's just what I wanted. Doesn't wreck my D-loops either like some releases I've tried. ONE NOTE – the wrist band was VERY NOISY at first (squeaky leather) and I was a little freaked out. I researched online and applied a little mineral oil to it and it softened up and went silent. Not taking a star off for this because I love everything else about it so much. If you're looking for a great little release, this does the job well, may just need a minor DIY before taking it into the woods.

Jaws fail to open when trying to put the release on the D loop. This happens about every 5 to 7 shots. Terrible quality. Had to return.

The release came as described and functions properly. However, it's EXTREMELY short. I'm not a big guy, but it's super tiny and I had trouble shooting with it. No fault of the release really, but Scott should consider it a youth release. Ended up getting a little goose and it's perfect with the adjustable length.

Nice compact release. I would give it five stars except for the hair trigger which makes me very nervous I am going to fire it before I am ready to fire. I think it said somewhere the trigger is adjustable, but there were no instructions and it is not self evident how to do this. Otherwise I would recommend this release.

Love this thing. I'd consider it a hair trigger. Don't make eye contact with it at full draw as it'll get antsy and let the arrow fly. If it ever goes bad, I'll buy the same release again. Probably added 10 horsepower to my bow.

Out of the box instantly noticed the quality. Fit perfect and is lightweight and comfortable. Smaller in size, fits good with gloves making it more low profile. A lot more sensitive on the release than several truffles i have owned. Highly recommended.

This is a hair trigger release. It is awesome when compared to some other cheaper releases. The only issue I had was that I had to create a new hole to extend the strap as I have large wrists/hands.

I have used a scott caliper releases for 13 seasons. I lost my back up release and bought this new one. I liked it so much it's my main one now. 13 seasons I have harvested 8 bull elk and 4 deer with a bow. I had a problem with the first release I bought sent Scott an e mail the sent me a new release no questions asked. I'm sticking with Scott archery.

I got this because my trufire hurricane extreme was awful, too big for me and hurt my fingers. This works great, I really like the hair trigger even though I didn't think I would. You can't really squeeze the trigger like with other ones but the release is quick and smooth always when I want it. The caliper arms are a little big so it takes a little more focus putting it on the string. 4 stars because the caliper and trigger are black not red. That's false advertising and I would have been more upset if I wasn't replacing my truly terrible hurricane extreme.

Great release, great price. I owned the release as pictured before. I regretted selling it and ordered this one. It’s got black jaws and trigger instead of red. No big deal, in fact it looks great. Trigger is crisp and light and the stem length is perfect for me. The strap is comfortable and form fitting with zero stretch. Noisless activation.I might have preferred and single sided caliper at this point, but whatever. Well made and designed. Unbeatable for the new price. I got a warehouse deal one for $44 something, so that was twice as unbeatable.

Smooth trigger release.

1 star for quick delivery and it works. Recieved in a crumbled semi-open package, with rusty hardware and paint chipped off. The color scheme wasn't the same. I might as well purchased it off Craigslist. Disappointed purchasing experience. No more SCOTT products for me.
