Does it work? YesDoes it cool the laptop or PC(dell touch screen, all in one) ? Yes it will cool either device, and it does a great job.How much air? More than what you need, seriously.Noise level? Variable, depends on the speed that you select, it can be very quiet.Does it look nice? Absolutely not, it is very ugly.How big is it? It's big, approx four, 4" inch phones stack one in top of the other.Will it solve a cooling problem? Yes you can count on it, you may have your own little tornado, it sucks so much air from the outlet that I was afraid t it was going to suck out the CPU also (LOL).Will it look nice during a presentation, when you place it over an expensive mirror polished rare wood table? I promise you, you will make an unforgettable first impression.Do I recommended it? As performance, yes its great! You can buy it!Do I use it? Yes once, and I placed it back in the box for safe keeping, I am looking for a victim, sorry I meant to say a friend that may need one, I will even trough the x-mas wrapping, and the ribbon for free.

This works pretty well. One of the several ducts fit my laptop perfectly, and on the highest setting, it keeps the computer cool indefinitely. Since my keyboard tends to shut down when the laptop heats up, I'm really happy with this device. A couple of other "coolers" didn't do the trick. I run it at the highest level, and it does put out a lot of air. There's some noise, but it's not bothersome to me. I agree that the adhesive isn't the best approach. I used some Velcro to make it removable and that works fine for me.For the price, it's pretty good solution. If you don't plan on moving the laptop around a lot, you'd probably give it five stars.

I rarely give a bad review but this item was not worth it. Partly my fault for not researching enough but this thing is huge. Way bigger then I expected. Fits on with double sided tape. Falls off easily. Gets in the way.5 minutes after trying this out I just googled overheating laptop and made some changes in the settings. I then hit ctrl alt delete and checked which processes were running the most cpu. I removed a ton of crap by using add/remove programs. This helped tremendously. Finally I bought a new battery that holds a charge longer and doesnt overheat.So...if you have an overheating laptop I suggest doing the following:1. Remove any programs you dont need that are sucking up cpu2. buy a new battery3. change settings ( a quick google search gives you all the info you need)Notebook is now running like new.

I was under the impression it actually attached to my laptop however it just sits there next to it and I have to make sure it's bunkered up to my laptop every time I feel like moving or adjusting myself. It's pretty loud on full fan and the fan speed only really has 3 internal speeds super fast and loud, quite but virtually no fan, and some weak ended middle setting. It actually does it job very well it's just sold very slyly. It needs to be clearly described because I was under the impression I could use it while having my computer on my lap. False!It would simply fall to the ground as there's no table pinching the tab between itself and your computer. It's also very big. If I have it on a tray, and then in my lap it still hangs off the side of the tray and threatens to fall off its own tab.I'd just recommend a fan tray cooler. Much more practical if you tend to be more the portable laptop user. Table users would be fine with this product. Sadly I had to buy it to really know what this thing did.

I hated this. It broke after about 2-3 weeks of use. I liked the idea that it sucked the hot air away from the computer and that you can adjust the settings for the fan.I did not like the little sticky 2 sided tape they give you. It's just not enough to keep this attached to your laptop. Also the USB cable is very flimsy and the wires became exposed in just a few uses.

It's one more item that I have to keep track of, but it keeps my Thinkpad E540 from melting the CPU. This fan, when attached to the exhaust port, drops the operating temperature by about 10 degC.I run Xubuntu 14.04 and the internal fan doesn't seem to run. I can't find a fix. All of the Lenovo software for the E540 runs on Windoze and not Linux. Thinkfan doesn't work on the E540. I haven't tried running the drivers through WinE yet. This fan works so well, that I haven't really felt like spending hours on trying to fix the onboard.

This is great. If you install it right, it will work. Directions are useless unless you know that language but it's easy to install. The self adhesive tape isn't that good so buy yourself a better adhesive tape instead of what they supply. I guarantee it won't stick to your computer. You must use it on a flat surface like a lap desk if you install on your laptop computer. I have Rosacea and the heat from my laptop was causing my face to flush. With this mechanism on my computer it pulls the hot air out and turns it cold. Connects right into my laptop using an open USB port. I love it so far - been using it about a week now. I ordered another one as a backup just in case......I gave it only 4 stars because of the poor adhesive tape they supply. The key to make it work ..... your computer must be on a flat surface or it will come off from the laptop. I use my laptop on my lap but on a tray specifically to use with your laptop on your lap. I highly recommend this. (so far).

It's supposed to sit by the side of the pc but if your pc has a support to lift up the unit under the screen there is no way this can fit, it needs to be flat against the table. It is fairly noisy and the speed control is crap, it is either on full blast or hardly at all. Get one that you set under your laptop.
